Summary
Yuri Plisetsky is 15 when he unintentionally reunites with 17 year old skater Otabek Altin. The characters are the professional skaters that you remember from the series however Yuri also enjoys singing and is struggling to decide what he wants to do full-time; likewise, Otabek is a DJ and doesn't know if he should quit skating to fulfill this dream full-time. Yuri works multiple jobs to afford medical assistance for his Grandpa, some jobs are more controversial than others.
Recommend songs you'd like to be featured throughout this fic, they'll be sung by Yuri per request during his singing gigs. I want to feature as many of you as I can through original characters so send over some names in the comments.
This will mainly be in Yuri's POV, however, Otabek will sneak in as well for extra dimension to the plot.
There is reference to underage sexual themes, I will not be detailing such encounters until Yuri hits the age of consent in Russia [as of the time of writing this, 16].
A story where they fall in love at a very slow pace. You're welcome. I hope to write this for a while, I'll update twice a week minimum. Kudos and comments welcome.

Pencil drawing in rain. Who thought of that? It’s much more sketchy than he would have liked, but fuck, who cares? It’s just a study, nothing he will get a grade on. And so far, even though he struggles with his punctuality sometimes, his grades somehow work out for him. Most of the time. He is okay. Good enough to keep his scholarship, not good enough to be the constant focus of everyone’s attention. Yuri used to despise mediocrity, wanted to be the best in everything, but then his planned career ended abruptly because he overworked himself. And no matter how thick his skull is, he learned something from that.
Sometimes being happy is enough, because nothing is safe anyway.

His job is to carry the heavy crates back and forth from the truck to wherever they’re meant to go in the store, crack them open, and leave them to be emptied by Yuuri and stocked onto the shelves.
