Have you ever had to scroll past a fic with too many tags, especially on mobile where it takes forever? A fic that updates every day that you cannot escape? A fic that has tagged multiple fandoms so it's always present whenever you look at recently updated fics in a fandom?
Well, here's how to block a fic on AO3 or even block multiple fics! You will not need to download anything nor create a specific bookmark on your browser.
You will also learn how to:
-Incorporate this blocking feature if you're using a site skin that is not the default one, such as a dark mode
-Add a feature so that if there are more than a set amount of tags, the rest will be hidden automatically and won't take up screen space! That way you don't need to waste time manually blocking every fic that over-tags. -
