Summary
The war was over. Sasuke was still an idiot, but they were mostly getting over that. Everyone else was just trying to get back to some semblance of normalcy in the era after facing the Juubi and losing so much. Hatake Kakashi never wanted to be Hokage but that's what he became. With that comes enemies. During an ambush, Naruto jumps in front of a Jutsu that would tear his former Sensei's soul from his body. The Jutsu begins to tear Kurama away instead. In a desperate bid to save both his and Naruto's life, Kurama does something almost as unpredictable as his host. He tries to send them back in time a day. This would have worked just fine, except Kurama might have...overshot things a bit.
Oh, wow is that a chibi Naruto running around? What year is it again?
Jiraiya begins hearing rumors of a man called the "Lost Uzumaki" that has made a seismic debut on the shinobi world stage. The only thing is that S-class nin don't just pop out of nowhere...usually. Jiraiya is sent to track down the nin and determine his loyalties. His new life depends on a good impression. The good thing is that Uzumaki Naruto's true superpower is his ability to talk even the most unwilling into submission.

I am so glad I got around to reading this because it’s excellent. It features a Midoriya from the 21st century getting through life in a time so different that it may as well be a different universe. He’s in gen ed but keeps stumbling into heroic situations and Bakugo and All Might are hilariously both convinced that Izuku MUST be a hero student while Dadzawa grumbles and glares in the background. Izuku has no idea what he’s doing and is incredibly out of his depth but he has a backbone because he didn’t have it all beaten out of him like in canon.“Midoriya-kun,” Tsukauchi leaned in, his tone gentling further, “we’ve been able to confirm that a time-warping quirk was used to transport you from the 21st century -- the time that you were living in -- into the current 23rd century. The investigation is still open, and at this point, we are left with more questions than answers. But if there is anything I can clear up for you, please don’t hesitate to ask me.”
Izuku blinked. And blinked again. “Are...are you telling me that I was actually kidnapped to the future? ”
The detective met Izuku’s disbelieving stare with an unwavering one of his own. “That is exactly what I’m telling you, Midoriya-kun.”
A laugh bubbled up through Izuku’s chest and escaped; first one, and then another. And suddenly he couldn’t stop. Leaning over, his hands gripped his hair as he stared wide-eyed and unseeing at his lap. The future? What even was his life anymore?
Abruptly, his laughter cut off as he came to a realization. “My mom is going to be so mad.”
9.5/10“It’s ok, Midoriya-chan,” Tsuyu soothed with a hand to his shoulder as the mountain of a man took off with a burst of air to face the Nomu. “It’s only All Might, kero .”
“You know that guy?” Izuku demanded.
“YOU DON’T ?!” Mineta shrieked.

I have a natural enjoyment of time travel fics and Complete Disarray is one of my favorites. This little offshoot of it was a fun and thoroughly enjoyable read that I’m glad I got to experience. Madara is protective, Sasuke is adorable, and Shikako is a mad scientist.Shikako grimaces, though. “Well, I’ll try to think of something,” she concludes. “But it’s really gonna take a while. We might end up closer to where we left, time-wise, so we probably won’t get yelled at by everyone, but from our perspective it’ll probably be months.”
Sasuke snorts. Months, to crack interdimensional time travel. If Tobirama didn’t try to murder Shikako the next time they saw each other — never, hopefully — they would get along like a house on fire. Or, more likely, a planet on fire. What do you call two mad scientists in a room: A catastrophe.

An honestly stellar fic that I liked a lot more than I thought I would. I’m a sucker for time travel fics but this ones didn’t have much of the dramatic irony that I usually get out of time travel fics. Instead, it’s this tender exploration of All Might living with the consequences of his time travel and making difficult decisions. His relationships with all the other characters are wonderful as well but especially the way that he considers Izuku. Izuku gets wiped from existence through time travel when All Might took out All for One (who is Izuku’s dad) and this fic portrayed his grief in such an achingly sweet way.Mrs. Shimura pulled out a tiny black glove that covered the pinky and ring finger. Perfect for a child just out of the toddler years. “It’s adjustable.” Toshinori anxiously rubbed his hands together. “And there’s a number inside the box to my support company. If they don’t fit or he wants a different color or whatever, just give them a call and they should set you up. Free of charge, of course.” I feel like a used car salesman. ‘If your son qualifies as a future supervillain, call now and get complimentary glove servicing!’

This is such a crushingly adorable little story that I audibly squealed when I read it. It gives a wonderful snapshot into the life of kid!Midoriya who’s shitty. Day gets brightened by charming buffoon Dad Might.“All Might,” Izuku says haltingly. “Do you think I can be a hero...even without a quirk?”
And the look All Might gives him is so gentle and fond, with none of the pity Izuku expected.
“Young Midoriya,” All Might says with conviction, “whether or not you have a quirk, you are going to be a remarkable hero. And anyone who tells you otherwise is a fool.”

After attempting to transport all of his siblings back in time, Five wakes up to a familiar scene. Again. And again. And again. He doesn't know why he keeps being transported back to the day of his father's funeral, but he is determined to not waste it now that he has the foresight to prevent the apocalypse. He just wished he didn't feel so alone doing it all over again.
