And naturally this has to interrupt his belated realization that there is a possibility of a more than professional relationship with Greg Lestrade.

Picks up after "Different Masques".
Mycroft Holmes has just found out (the hard way) that supernatural beings exists. the fact that he found out GREGORY is a werewolf, from a family of werewolves, when he defended Mycroft from a vampire? well... its complicated (Although Gregory has lovely silvery grey fur)
Also the British Government is rather annoyed that he never knew any of it and is determined to be brought up to speed as soon as possible.
