Summary
Castiel Novak has recently become a professor at Stanford, trying to escape his unfortunate past at Harvard, when he meets Sam Winchester, as law professor whom his office neighbours. Cas is almost starting to feel at home, when Sam's elder brother Dean, comes to town with no job, no money, and no place to stay.
A slow-burn, in which Cas is lonely and really appreciates and friendship he can find though he doesn't receive any from Dean, who appears to hate his guts (At first). Let's just say, they've both got a truckload of shit to work through before they can even dream of being good enough for one another. At first you could probably argue Cas had a crush on Sam, but personally, I think he's just really desperate for friendship.

Summary
Seventeen-year-old Castiel Krushnic doesn’t trust, doesn’t cry, and he certainly does not love. Life hasn’t exactly been the easiest ride, so when he gets stuck living with Missouri Moseley and the Winchester brothers in the dead-end town of Janesville, Wisconsin, life seems like it's set to get a whole lot worse. What he learns, however, is that things in life aren’t always as they first appear. And people are never who you thought they were. They can grow, change, and bloom but only if you let them.

Summary
‘Man’. It feels like a punch to the gut when Dean puts it on the end of a phrase. It’s his own personal version of "no homo", which almost always directly follows their fooling around in Castiel’s bed for an extended period of time.

Summary
Comedy. It's what Winchester's did. Winchester's, and about a million other dumb fucks with an iPhone and 140 character witticisms about their first world problems. It was not supposed to bug him when no-talent "wordsmiths" got highlighted in a bit on Ellen or Bob and Tom. But it did.
His dad, well he was great at it. It was dark comedy. It came from a dark place; the loss of a wife and the life of a morally bankrupt single dad, almost innocent in how thoroughly unprepared he was for fatherhood. Substance abuse in itself provided jokes for days. The material actually outlasted his dear old dad. This surprised no one. What was surprising was Sam's decision to ditch college and do his own act, despite his lingering bitterness.
The first night Dean saw Sam perform was also the first night Dean saw Castiel perform.

Summary
What we had was clinging hands. It was fervent lips and seeking tongues. It was a million degrees in the dead of winter and equally as cold in the swelter of summer. It was the greatest thing I’ve ever experienced. It was also the worst. It was making love to my best friend and waking up desperate to talk to someone about the confusion, the darkness that came with the sex and being unable to because He’s the only person I’ve ever been able to talk to. It was seeing my sister and her boyfriend, His brother and his girl, and wanting to be normal for once in my life.
Cas’ cheeks burn. He knows what he wrote, and he knows that the truth in the words is terrifying. He loves Dean, God, does he ever, but they were a supernova. Supernovas are meant to burn bright, not forever, and if Dean gets to be that supernova, then Cas can live with being the endless black hole he leaves in his wake. As long as Dean still burns bright somewhere in this universe…

Summary
Castiel was the Captain of the Valiant until Uriel formed a mutiny and left him adrift. Luckily Captain Dean of the pirate ship Impala happens upon him. Worse summary ever, sorry.
