Summary
For a while, neither of them spoke. They sat in a heavy silence, just the two of them. Aang looking up, Zuko staring straight ahead. He thought again of his cousin, of his mangled family and all they took, and how Aang had always, somehow, been at the center of it.
“You were dreaming about him, weren’t you?” Zuko said, suddenly. His chest tightened at the realization. It came together all at once, like someone had whispered the answer in his ear. Aang shifted beside him. His eyes almost flashed in the moonlight. “Of Roku.” Zuko clarified, though they both knew who he meant.

OR: Aang's 18th birthday stirs up a lot of unprocessed grief/feeling and with the inauguration of the United Republic just around the corner and increasing expectations the pressure of it all is becoming too muchRepublic City shenanigans, drunken never-have-i-evers, complicated visits home and a semi-arranged marriage inbound!
this is about the Gaang, five years after the war trying to find their way :)
I should say, if you've read beautiful boy this is definitely in the same universe in terms of vibe/characters/style/etc, just think of it as like not quite in the same canon but pretty much <3

Summary
"Nearly three hundred years ago, Fire Lord Sozin's crusade against the Spirits freed humanity from bending, fate, and destiny. Humankind could finally reach our potential for true progress." At least, that was written in the school's government-approved textbook.
Aang never questioned it - he just wanted to get this report done before class tomorrow.

Summary
Aspects of faith and tradition are inlayed throughout the foundation of the modern world. My vision is to expose these qualities through relatable means. Fan fiction is very near and dear to my heart, and so I want to unite what I learn in my faith to a piece of my life that I am deeply passionate about. This work is meant to serve as an instrument in attempting to bridge spirituality with pop culture, revealing the ways in which faith plays a role in how society functions.

Summary
Azula has no easy life, even though it may seem so. Aang has no easy life either, although many people think so. Struggling with cultural norms, like family, addiction and romantic endeavours is the fundament of their problems. And if they bump into each other, will their lives become better or worse?
Definitely worse.
Title's from Fleetwood Mac's song. I own nothing but the (existential) drama.

Summary
"....I've been thinking," Zuko stares at the fireworks, the beautiful expression of fire being more than destruction, and wonders.
"Uh oh," Sokka replies. "That's a dangerous thing to do."
A promise is made, but was it the right thing to promise in the first place? Zuko and Aang struggle with a changing world, and their places as "Avatar" and "Fire Lord" within it.
Will history repeat itself, or is trusting in your friends the right thing to do in this case?
....

Summary
"You sure you're alright, Twinkle Toes?" Toph's voice broke him out of his miserable thought bubble. "You seem a little bit upset. Are you going to throw up again or?"
Aang unclenched the fist that was holding onto the ground below him. "Um. I," he paused. "It's nothing. I'm fine."
She was quiet. "Stop lying," she said.

Summary
Fire creeping forward
Wind begins to turn
The world yet is frozen
While the world burnsAang was learning that quite a lot of things in the world weren’t as they should be. He should have been told he was the avatar when he was sixteen. He should be allowed to play with the other kids. He should be traveling with Monk Gyatso, like they’d planned before getting stuck here.
It should be fair.
It wasn’t.

Summary
In 2017, twenty-two year old Aang is a critical asset to the Pan Pacific Defense Corps; he's the only person in the world who can solo-pilot Avatar, the semi-mythical Jaeger built to seal the Breach and end the Kaiju War. But when a tragic accident puts him in cryo-stasis, humanity is forced to adapt.
Fifty years later, Aang wakes up to a world reshaped by climate change, corporate greed, and half a century of war against interdimensional aliens. While his return is celebrated as the rebirth of the Avatar Project, and a renewed hope for humanity, Aang must navigate the conflict between his beliefs and his duties, while coping with the loss of his mentor Gyatso and finding his place in a world that is as foreign as it is familiar.

Summary
There is a legend passed down from generation to generation, a legend about the Spirit World and what lies within. Once a mere folktale spun by a mother for her children, it had gradually spread throughout the world, with each culture taking its own interpretation of the tale.
Though the original legend was lost to time and its descendents are distinct to each nation, there are many elements that stay the same. For one, every legend always begins the same way.
They always begin with two brothers… and death.
Alternatively: For every legend, there is always a grain of truth hidden within. When Aang awakens in the Spirit World, he must decide whether to let his past go... or be consumed by his regrets.
Or: the story of how Aang comes back to life, as told through the legend of The Path.
AU inspired by League of Legends’ cinematic “The Path.” Prequel to “The Dishonored Blade.”
