If it weren't for her grandfather, Weiss would have lost her wings at birth. If it weren't for her mother, she would have lost them as a toddler, when she was still too young to remember them. If it weren't for her sister, she would have lost them as a child, the moment she was old enough to be afraid of them.
Weiss arrives at Beacon still counting down the days to her eighteenth birthday, when she will finally get rid of them for good. It's the obvious next step. Until, that is, her team does what they do best, and makes everything a whole lot more complicated.

But one fated train heist costed him more than he was willing to give, and after leaving the White Fang behind, he would have to decide what his purpose in the world really was.
Perhaps Beacon held the answer. Where he would find allies and new friends, he would also have to face the evil that secretly infected the world, and the evil that had infected him.
The question he couldn't answer is: Does he have the strength to do it?

She didn't need the Academies, she'd sacrificed too much already to risk being a huntress, and she was too ashamed to return home. This is the story of a somewhat different Team RWBY, set in a universe altered—sometimes in small ways, sometimes in larger ways—by the machinations of the Gods of their world.
This is a retelling of canon events from the perspective of my AU, the Abyssal Infinitum 'verse, with slow-burning canon ships like Bumblebee and Renora, but focusing primarily on White Rose. Unlike similar re-imaginings like Scars, this story will be bleak-ish but not grimdark, and stick pretty rigidly to on-screen events as they happened; telling stories that mostly happen between what's depicted on-screen.

The girls stare at him. He cringes internally. The last time he brought up faunus politics around his team Harriet told him to ‘lighten up’ and Elm laughed in agreement, clapping him on the back hard enough to send him tumbling forward. The silent message was to not bring it up again.
“Anyway!” he adds hastily with a fake smile he hopes is convincing. “I didn’t come here to solve systemic societal issues.” his tone is definitely not.

This story requires quite a bit of RWBY knowledge, though it probably doesn't require much Worm knowledge.

A young girl is sent on a mission to infiltrate Beacon Academy, a prestigious school training the future protectors of Remnant. However, when she gets there she finds that the strings tying her to her past are slowly snapping, placing freedom in her lap. The question now is, does she have the strength to take it?
This is a WIP! So some things in previous chapters may change. Until the last chapter is posted, if you notice something is a bit different, maybe a paragraph is longer or a phrase was cut, that's why. I will try not to do anything major!
One last thing... this story has very little ties to the canonical story told in the show. Most of the main cast DOES NOT EXIST and a lot of the lore/worldbuilding is different so please go in with FRESH EYES. Thank you! I have changed a lot, so other than there being a struggle between Ozpin and Salem, the other stuff isn't really there. Thank you and I hope you enjoy the story! Love you guys ^-^

Jacek is the third born of an extremely wealthy family in Atlas. He has grown to despise his family and countless others because of their views on the Faunus people.
Nigil is one of three selfless samaritans who uplifted the once rundown village of Feldspar. He has a mother and little sister that mean the world to him.
Pierre is a runaway turned maverick who occupies the streets of Valean with no clear purpose or sense of direction. All he has is a philosophy to live by: Deliver pain to those who deserve it.
Ryaine is the youngest High Member of the White Fang who was rescued during his clan’s slaughter. He lives to serve the Faunus people and hunt the predators of his past.
This is a story centered around my original interpretation of JNPR: Action, Adventure, Drama, Angst, Fluff, Humor, Romance, Smut, and so much more.
