Summary
When the Avatar emerges from an iceberg, Sokka is reluctant to join him on a journey around the world. He finds himself wondering about an old childhood friend.
Zuko, having been banished at the age of thirteen and separated from his uncle at fourteen, decides to do what any logical teenager would do in his situation: don a mask and become a pirate. Under the name of Lee, Zuko finds himself with friends and a life he (surprisingly) enjoys. But how will he react when he hears the Avatar has returned?

Fire Lord Azulon once was told that bringing together the bloodlines of Avatar Roku and Fire Lord Sozin would create great firebenders for generations to come. However, he misunderstood at what cost this blessing would come to his family and to himself personally. The cost of power is high, and the cost of perfection is ever higher.

Summary
In one short month, Zuko’s life changes irrevocably: two family members die, another disappears, and he is classed as an omega. Grasping for a sense of stability and for his father’s approval, he dives headlong into an engagement with Zhao, a naval officer with ties to an important noble family. Zuko's been told this marriage is vital to the unity of the Fire Nation, but whether Zhao cares about anything other than his own ambitions remains to be seen.

Summary
“Mother always liked you better,” she says quietly. She looks away from Zuko, lip beginning to curl again. “No wonder you’re so determined to believe that she’s alive.”
“Mother loved you, too,” Zuko says, and even he knows how weak that sounds. Azula throws her head back and laughs, but it comes out all wrong and hoarse and raw as though she’s strained her throat.
“Oh, Zuzu.” Azula walks forward, abruptly throwing her hands up against the bars of the cell. Zuko refuses to flinch as she leans forward. “I don’t know how you’ve survived this long if you still believe that.”
---
Post-canon rewrite intended to replace the comics. Explores Azula's redemption arc and Zuko's struggles (and successes) as the Fire Lord. There's politics, the Gaang bonding, borderline international crises, Zuko and Azula desperately needing to learn basic self care, and too many assassination attempts to be healthy.

Summary
Aang isn't who everyone thought he was, he was just protecting who he failed to a hundred years ago. It was his duty, his responsibility... He might have failed her then, but he will not now.
He was born to serve his people, he was born to end this war, he was born for victory. But, is the victory he was born for meant to be his father's victory too? Zuko has never understood why his uncle cared so much, why his mother left and his sister hated him. What he does know is this feeling in his chest, the feeling of knowing he's not alone anymore. What he doesn't understand is why he's so obsessed with the Air Monk.
Iroh is the only one who sees it at first, the only one who understands. He is no stranger to lies and deceit, they have been his greatest companions since the day he retreated from Ba Sing Se, the only things keeping him from falling off the deep end. He knows what he has to do to make things right, to restore balance in the Mortal World, he only prays that his beloved nephew can forgive him.
