Summary
Fire was an element that either commanded respect or consumed fear. Aelita Kenshin had experienced both feelings during her sixteen years of life. A firebending master reduced to nothing but the hollow shell of what she once was, the Butcher of Ba Sing Se no longer trusted the power beneath her fingertips.
The entire world believed the Avatar to be dead and nearly all of the Akira's world thought she was too. Forced to leave Aelita's body behind, Aang and the others are left to grapple with the grief that threatens to overwhelm them with only their desire for peace and justice pushing them forward.
Welcomed home as war heroes next to their sister, twin Princes Zuko and Zetzu are thrust back into the game of thrones, forced to face their demons. With tensions rising faster than Sozin's Comet approaches, it's soon clear that only one of them can be left to inherit their family's scorched legacy.
Fire is the element of power. The people of the Fire Nation have the desire and will to achieve what they want. Only time will tell if that power and desire will be too much to handle as the fate of the world is forged in fire.

“No, no, don’t move it,” the man says, dropping down towards him to overlook the knee.
Sokka cradles his leg in his hands, glaring at the man. “Don’t touch me! Who are you?”
The man abruptly yanks his hands back, taken aback by his voice. His eyes widened, realizing that Sokka was able to speak. Oddly, he doesn’t react with anger to Sokka’s outburst though, instead, his face is painted with shock. He shakes it off and offers a friendly grin at him.

Nothing is more tedious than being stuck on a Galra warship waiting for his friends to come save him. Luckily, Sokka ends up sharing a space with a paladin of Voltron.Series

Summary
"You're lucky.....you get to die a hero." The yuyan archer laughed dryly, bitterly, coldly amused. He wasn't expecting to hear that raspy voice as it punctuated the chaotic quiet and the unsettling stillness as they both laid there, bleeding out on the earth as if they were simply two good friends stargazing together. "Before the rest of the world sees you....become a monster."
Sokka found no comfort in those words, or in the suffocating half gasp attempt he made to try and fill his remaining semi functional lung. He was tired. Tired of fighting. Tired of struggling. Tired of the archer's shit. He wanted to just die in peace, was that too much to ask?
-------
The universe has a funny way of answering Sokka's prayers. The sweet relief of death is snatched away from him as the Spirits find a far better use for the vengeful warrior, and set him on a path of love and tragedy. He wouldn't be so pissed about it all were it not for the fact he finally found something (or someone) to live for.
