Bakugou had planned on attending one of those fancy Ivy League schools just like the rest of his highschool friends, but ever since… Look, things happened and he never got around to properly applying. It’s fine. Totally fine. He’d just fuck around at the community college for a bit so he wouldn’t be wasting his year. Next year everything would be back to normal. He’d be with his usual circle of acquaintances, probably dorming with Deku, arguing with Icy Hot, teasing Round Cheeks, and getting scolded by Four Eyes.
Unfortunately, nothing ever seemed to go according to plan. At first it was a fucking nightmare he couldn’t wait to be rid of, but then… Fuck. It only took two semesters at that stupid school to ruin everything. How was he just supposed to move on when there was someone actually worth staying for?

Dirt clogs his arteries and terrifies him like a child shivering in the corner of a room, trying to merge with the wall so nobody may seem them.
He hides like that child.

He just wants to be a hero but how can he when he can't even tell someone his own name without a pen and paper or the jerky movements of his stiff fingers? Will he be able to walk the halls of UA and come out the other side a hero or will his mother have been right when she called him worthless?
