Summary
Will Graham died that night in Hannibal's kitchen, though Hannibal is unaware of this result. As Will figures out that he is in fact dead, and is now a ghost, he resolves to track down Hannibal in Italy and haunt him for the rest of his life. Yet when he and Hannibal are reunited, Hannibal cannot initially tell that Will is already dead.
Then the unexpected happens. They continue to fall deeper in love, increasingly distressed when they realize they cannot feel the other's touch. The two men must tackle what it means to die, to live, and to fall in love- and how they can do that together, or not. As they both ache and yearn for each other, murder and tableaus ensue as Hannibal, much like Icarus, relentlessly pursues the Man Who Was The Sun.

Summary
All his feelings about Hannibal existed in a swirling tempest that was too powerful for Will to consciously control, but he was sailing through the storm like he was sailing across the sea — with determination, impulsivity, and no clear plan. There was only the need to go forward, towards Hannibal.
Will didn’t know what was going to happen once he found him. He didn’t know what he was going to do. Will was just as likely to kill Hannibal as he was to forgive him.
I forgive you, Will. Will you forgive me?

Summary
Only she can see it slowly coming undone at the seams, revealing to the broken beast of the man beneath it.
It shows itself in small ways at first. His hackles rise easily when she baits him with taunts about the man and child he left in Baltimore. She feels him twitch with his dreams when in bed next to her. Occasionally she hears a mumbled Will when he does. He has the slightest of bags under his eyes, an indication of less than restful sleep. The beast only gets more overt as the days tick by.

Summary
Will’s earliest memories tasted of salt water. He knew for a fact his last would be the same.
Will Graham is trying to make a living and trying to stay alive. A gay man married to his asexual best friend at the start of the nineteenth century, Will catches a break and finds himself and his wife work on the Campania, a steamship ferrying people between Liverpool and New York.
Dr. Hannibal Lecter is a man of privilege and passion, still close friends with his ex-wife, and a consultant for a lucrative new venture. Unable to fix up his little boat to head to New York on his own, he's advised by a grumpy boat mechanic to seek a ticket on the Campania instead.
This is a very slow burn story, we're talking they kiss at the end of this book. But we really hope you like it!

Summary
She watches water pool into his cupped hand, watches steam drift up to obscure his smile. She’s crossing the room before she knows it, her bare feet silent on the carpet; she touches his shoulder as she passes him, and the feeling of his bare skin against her palm sends a nervous thrill through her — a thrill that’s still there, making her throat tight, as she grabs the shampoo.
“Let me,” she says, voice soft.

Summary
The death of a loved one necessarily entails bereavement, grief, loss. Often regret, certainly mourning, sometimes trauma.
The death of a patient entails ... an awful lot of paperwork.
