11 JANUARY 2021: HI, GUYS! I've had a family emergency and it's difficult getting settled to write anything. Emotional and mental strain has killed it for me. So you lovely people know, I am NOT abandoning this story, just give me some time as I work through some things. I never leave a project unfinished. Just wish this crap didn't hinder my creative juices. I want to be in the Skyrim world so much...it's my escape...but I gotta take care of myself in real life. And I'm doing that. :) Thank you for understanding! I love all the comments and kudos I receive! You guys are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!
Estimated time 'til next chapter....maybe another month? And if I manage a little earlier I'll be delightfully surprised.

This is based off of my current playthrough with my female Bosmer named Shade. Bitter at the responsibilities of the Dragonborn, she turns to honing her skills with the Dark Brotherhood instead. Everything was operating smoothly as she plans to overtake the Brotherhood for herself, until a Jester she met on the road earlier makes another appearance. I'm writing this as I play through, and there will be many embellishments as to how I wish the game played out instead. I adore my dear sweet Cicero, and this will be a very long story with a very slow build towards their relationship, with lots of pining and confused feelings.
I'll be trying to add to this every week or two until it's hit a point I'm happy with.
Also, I started in first person but kept going to third person, so I rewrote this it that way. Sorry if there's any slip ups I missed.

Cicero is the Keeper, Fool of Hearts, assassin, and jester. Most importantly, he is the Listener's. Story follows the Imperial Dovahkiin Lalailana as she works with the Dark Brotherhood. The plot focuses heavily on the slow burn and less on her actual murders and quests. She finds herself having feelings for the crazy little man that tends their Night Mother's corpse, but doesn't really know what to do with those emotions.
I have been reading some Cicero fics recently and couldn't help remember how much I loved the creepy dude. So I replayed the questline and wrote this. Please enjoy.
