Merlin has retired from the army and is at a loss what to do with his life after 30 years of service to Queen and Country. He takes a job as a security guard at an antique shop, a job well below who he had been before, but he doesn't want to be that man anymore, and it kills some time. Maybe he'll figure out who he is now that he isn't living by other men's orders.
Eggsy is a personal shopper and emerging stylist that works out of Kingsman Tailors, and has a huge opportunity coming up. He convinces the antique shop to loan him jewelry but it comes with security guard Merlin.
Two men trying to figure out who they are, and who they will be, and realizing that maybe the journey will go a lot better if you walk it with another person.

But all Harry and Merlin ever want is for Eggsy to be happy, and if new analyst Sebastian will do that, then they are going to help that relationship grow. Because sometimes you can in fact have your cake and eat it too.

When Eggsy finds access to a pair of glasses kept on display in Merlin’s office, what he sees leads him to suspect there may be more to Merlin’s funny tummy than stress.
