Summary
Hades is at the end of his rope with his unruly and wayward son. Zagreus is becoming far too...inquisitive...for Hades' liking. He needs something to ground the prince. Something to give Zagreus purpose. Something to make him calmer. Something, no someone, like...Achilles. The House's most stalwart shade and one that Hades has, over the years, actually come to respect. So Hades swallows his pride and asks Achilles for a favor. Not just any favor. But to teach Zagreus the ways of the sword and spear and bow. To teach him discipline. To teach him respect.
But what Hades doesn't count on is the fact that Achilles will also tell the prince stories. Stories of the surface. And by the time he figures out that Achilles' lessons are only fueling Zagreus' desire to leave the House, it is too late. The damage has been done. The Prince's mind is full of stories of Greece and glory and war and hope and -- damn it all, why did he ever ask a mortal to teach his son?

The Titans had returned and Zagreus' heart was taken from his body. Although they managed to push back the enemies, Zagreus could not come back to life.
It began when the River Styx dried out and the palace on Mount Olympus was destroyed. Their powers turned weak after the war, and soon the mortals began to forget about them.
Then one day, after a very long time had passed, someone named Zoe was born...

Summary
Given how the Queen’s last pregnancy went, everyone at the House of Hades was considerably surprised to find out she and the Lord of the Underworld were expecting yet another child.
“You know? I think this child… will be very blessed,” she said her thoughts all aloud to Cerberus, who only wagged his tail in affirmation. “I’ll never run away again, their father is in a good mood lately and they’ll have a fantastic older brother,” she smiled and laughed when the hound of Hades groaned questioningly to her. “And of course, an amazing canid guardian.”

Zagreus wants to be a good Big Brother, Persephone is happy and Hades is Trying™. And also there's a baby.

Summary
Zagreus drags his feet forward. Bitterness is a heavy weight in his chest and he takes it out on a pebble, only- it’s not a pebble. His foot goes through it with a gasp and Zagreus squints, recognizes in the span of a breath the fuzzy edges of a large, dark gray feather.
"Thanatos?"
--
It's Zagreus, not Ares, that finds Thanatos chained in Tartarus.

Summary
Zagreus is by no mean an ordinary man.
People can sense it ; yet cannot point out what is bugging them about the joyful and handsome son of the local florist and vegetables merchant.
That's curious, they think. His mother is as beautiful as he is, sharing bright spring green eye, but looks more natural, she isn't giving off this strange aura around her.
He, however, got a strange charisma ; just a smile and everyone is charmed, he mesmerized girls and boys with his stories about his adventures in deep forests.
Everyone at the surrounding villages know them. And yet, they don't. Time flows, and people forget them, and they come back, and the cycle go on endlessly.Such is the nature of the gods.

AU where Zagreus is raised by Persephone, unbestknown to everyone ; may it be Olympus or Underworld. He's also a lovely and hardworking son!

Theseus had been a great man.

He had slain all manner of beasts, attracted the favour of the gods, ruled over Athens, bringing it to ever higher heights of glory. Undoubtedly, he had achieved greatness. He was a hero. He was a great man.
But he was not a good one.

Summary
To the Gods, monogamy is a foreign concept, and this for Zagreus as well. After seeing his mother and father together, and thinking on his feelings for Thanatos, he realizes that maybe he might be a monogamous person after all. With such strong feelings in mind, he decides to ask Achilles for help. Once given this help, he decides maybe him and Thanatos should try it and see where it takes them.
The heart wants what it wants, and Zagreus would rather not be a jealous person (and it is the same for Thanatos).
