This is set in an alternate universe where there are no Autobots or Decepticons.
After a century long war between the civilized part of Cybertron (known to the wild Cybertronians as the Outlands) and the wild clan. The two leaders came to an unsteady agreement to end the war, their oldest creations formed a spark bond. Mirage wasn't happy about the decision and Hound being a sentimental mech tries his best to impress his future mate. And Mirage being well Mirage says some offensive stuff and that causes the wild mech to back out of the bonding. They don't see each other for a long time until a certain Polyhexian kicks Mirage in the aft into correcting his wrong.

This is the alternate ending of TWOS where the Autobots win the war. It starts 20 years after Jazz killed Megatron and surrendered to Optimus. Prowl has become more of a recluse, a new council has been formed, and now on top of that two mechs are running a brand new rebellion to take down the Kaon Council. But they are oddly obsessed with a certain Polyhexian
This won't have the same level of mature content as the original ending. Many of that stuff is Jazz reliving memories and such.

Not Overlord, whose iron hold over Cybertron’s underworld is beginning to falter. Not Orion Pax, whose concern over the sudden silence of one of his favorite writers drives him to take up his hero’s pen. Not Terminus, who only wants to survive.
But Trepan and Senator Shockwave both know well what’s coming. One aims to use a defiant miner’s fall to crush the aspirations of the masses. The other wants to use that miner’s triumph to ignite them. Neither much cares about Megatron himself, or his ultimate survival.
Therein lies their fatal error.
