Summary
Space folded. Across the valley, an orc fell, head spinning through a shaft of the day’s dying light. A Wraith laid plans for the destruction of the foe. And a Ranger wondered what could’ve been, had his son taken up the flute rather than the sword.
Far away, in a villa on the Fifth level of Minas Tirith, that son awoke once more.

What if Talion never joined the Nine? What if his story played out differently? What if he was the only way Orcs could ever be redeemed?
And what if Talion and his Uruk allies were still alive in the modern day?I know what you are thinking. That this is going to be another Talion never fell story, and to be fair, it is. But I am going to be putting everything in in its proper pace in the timeline, plus crossing the Shadow games with Percy Jackson, for the simple fun of it.

Summary
As a ranger of Gondor, Talion was slaughtered on the Black Gate with everyone he ever loved.
However, Talion did not find peace in death. He was cursed, and resurrected, by a powerful wraith Celebrimbor, who reforged him into an undying spirit of vengeance. With their powers combined they dominated Mordor and forged a new ring to break Sauron himself.
This, however did not come to be. Talion was betrayed by Celebrimbor and Eltariel, refusing to die and instead choosing to become one of the nine, preventing a horrible power from rising with his sacrifice.
After being tortured by the ninth ring, he is finally offered peace of death and given back his feelings that he sacrificed to the shadow wars, including guild. So how was he ever supposed to resist a call for help, even if an unusual one?

Summary
It was not Strider that met the hobbits in Bree. It was not him who brought them to Imladris. Talion had been on a hunt of his own and it just so happened to coincide with that of the Fellowship of the Ring.

"I'm impressed Ranger. He truly must mean something to you..."
She marvelled at the beauty of the brand new ring as it rested in her palm. She could feel the power flowing from it, the iridescent blue reflecting in her eyes. It was nothing less than intoxicating. Shelob tore her eyes away at the sweet smell of blood. The ranger was gasping for lost breaths as he reached a hand to his neck. It took only a moment for his knees to buckle and send him to the ground. His lungs fought desperately to breathe, coughing blood as the puddle underneath him grew ever bigger.
"Yes, he must mean something to you.. But do you matter as much, I wonder?"
(Aka: A retelling of Shadow of War. 5 years late but who cares! The ending broke my dead heart, so now I gotta correct things. The story has the same beginning points, but added drama, angst, feels, fluff, character development, and imma have a lot of fun giving Talion a back story.)

Summary
The One Ring has been destroyed; Talion has difficulty deciding what to do next. The wraith that still shares his body is not making anything easier. (100% ship trash fic with a good amount of Celebrimbor's Shadow of Mordor background and a few other details swapped out for something closer to Tolkien canon)
