Summary
The same info had been asked from them all: name, date of birth, date of death, cause of death, and then-
“Do you have any questions?”
The Captain watched from behind as Thomas' stance straightened in eagerness. “Do you know where I could find Isabelle?”
He kicked himself. It was obvious now. Of course, everyone he'd ever known in life was going to be here. Everyone, including Major Anthony Havers.
Set in the future, following the show's finale: the ghosts are sucked off, the Captain and Havers reunite in the afterlife. They address everything - including what happened in that room on VE Day - and how they feel about each other. Can they overcome their baggage and get their happy ending?
A canon-compliant BBC Ghosts epilogue. Weekly updates. [PRE-S5 LEGACY VERSION]
What readers said about the original:"This story is so comforting"

Summary
Blackadder, banker, scourge of both the City of London and regulators everywhere, had thought that unhinged legal threats would be his main problem today. Thanks to Baldrick's novel, actual-kidnapping-based approach to regulatory capture, however, he's now got a significantly bigger, angrier, weaselly, currently handcuffed to his desk and swearing vengeance, problem.
(And for Darling, the worst day of his life has only just begun...)

Summary
When Edmund Blackadder, bloodied from shrapnel and ears ringing from the shelling, stumbled over Captain Darling's body caught in a tangle of barbed wire, he did not, despite many assurances towards it over the years, laugh, clap, and dance.
Instead, Blackadder took in the dark-wet definitely-not-mud stain spread all over Darling's uniformed chest, the pistol lax in his grip, his unseeing eyes turned up towards the overcast sky, and said, "oh, bloody buggering hell.""Quite," agreed Darling, squinting down at his own corpse; and, despite the unfortunate circumstances, took great pleasure in hearing Blackadder scream like a little girl.

Summary
The past is over, and the future's unclear. Particularly after two unrelated, but equally unsuccessful, schemes blew up in Blackadder's face. In a moonlight flit to escape the consequences of said blow-up, two cowards fled England together. An important question faces them: now what?
The answer, after a pile of old rocks, typhoons, a bit of light treason, some glorious Chicago weather, and an earthquake, turns out to be, of course, Hollywood.
(It also turns out that the most important thing is that they're doing it together this time.)

Summary
After rather successfully blowing up his own life, Kevin Darling is left picking up the pieces. Perhaps he can construct something better from them this time around. But it's hard to build a future when the past is still unfinished business. As is whatever grand scheme that Blackadder's left on the boil for so long...

Edmund Blackadder's never been a man prone to granting favours, but when two cowards are stuck together on no-man's land (and he can't get Darling to sod off), he doesn't have much of a choice. He'll bury the hatchet to survive, as odious as Darling might be. After all, it's not like they would ever be friends...even if a truce proves to be much, much more useful than he ever expected.

Summary
Kevin Darling got what he wanted: to survive, to return home, to forget the whole mess, and marry Doris. Yes, it was exactly what he wanted. So why does it feel so stifling? Why does he feel like he's made a wrong turn somewhere? And why, exactly, after their paths unexpectedly cross after six years, has he let Edmund bloody Blackadder waltz straight back into his life?

NEW: Post-S5 Canon Compliant [REVISED VERSION]
Even death had an ending eventually. At least, death as the Button House ghosts had known it: a dull existence of haunting laden with many physical limitations.
Decades, centuries and millennia respectively after their demises, the group get their long-awaited 'sucking off'. With a world full of the deceased to reunite with, there will be no more goodbyes in the afterlife.

Summary
When Captain Edmund Blackadder died in combat during the first World War, he left no descendants, and his long family line came to an end.
Maybe.
In which Edmund reckons with the generations of Blackadder forebears who have made him who he is, and with the idea -- or, rather, the now irreversible reality -- of continuing the legacy. And maybe finds some love along the way.

Summary
General Melchett fell in love with Georgina, not George — the gangly six-footer from the trenches, whose entire youth was characterized by a dashed overwhelming fear of the large, gruff, perpetually sweaty and beloved-childhood-pet-harming officer.
But Georgina isn’t real. George is. And George likes feeling beautiful.

Summary
In His Majesty’s trenches, sauciness between brothers-in-arms is a court martial offense. But Captain Blackadder’s gotten out of trouble plenty of times before, so George doesn’t worry all that much when cap starts sneaking into his bunk at night—and anyway, he finds himself falling bally well in love with the man.
A story of plenty of sex, plenty of silliness, and maybe even some love set during the events of Blackadder Goes Forth.
