He's not allowed to watch the ripple of muscles across his shoulders, newly defined, as he throws the garment away, and he shouldn't let his breath thin at the trail of dark hair, framed between slim hips and below natural, almost soft abdominals that he can still feel what it's like to bury his nose against. In which Derek is a gruff, struggling executive for his family's sprawling, wealthy company in New York, and Stiles is his quirky, offbeat intern who brings him cold coffee each morning and wears stupid T-shirts to work and generally succeeds at being a thousand times more charming than Derek could ever hope to be. To the outside observer, their relationship is combative but fond, although in private Stiles and Derek have a great deal more secrets, anger, and painful history between them than Derek is prepared to acknowledge or reveal. In retrospect, that might be half of the problem.

He convinces himself that the cat is a spritual gift from his dead best friend if not the actual persona of his friend in animal form. Guess what happens when the real Sherlock comes back to John and discovers his namesake. Poor Mary, fighting two Sherlocks to keep her place in John's heart. Hilarious Battle with silly situations and twisty angst packed ending. Must read - no slash - but in the spirit of canon people do make assumptions.
