Summary
Nishikiyama Akira has been granted his own family, but he can hardly call himself happy. His kyoudai languishes in prison for a crime Nishiki committed, his sister's health is in rapid decline, and his men disrespect him. As the months go by, disrespect turns to abuse, and Matsushige has far too much fun degrading and humiliating Nishikiyama.
Things come to a head one day in 1996, when Nishikiyama attempts to commit suicide before Matsushige walks in on him. But when he snaps and grabs his knife and advances on Matsushige, he doesn't manage to kill his underling. Instead, Matsushige overpowers him, knocking him out. Nishiki awakes restrained in a dark, unfamiliar place, and realises what he has gotten himself into.
Months later, Majima Goro learns that Nishikiyama is missing, but decides to keep the news from Kiryu. However, he doesn't want Kiryu-chan to lose Nishikiyama, so he, along with his sort-of boyfriend Nishitani Homare, decide to search for Nishiki themselves. They expect something terrible has happened, but when they find him, they see something they never, ever expected.
And now the pair are left to deal with Nishikiyama, unsure if they have what it takes to help him.

Nishitani moves before he thinks. He uses his knife to talk because words are unreliable and actions speak louder. If he doesn’t like what he hears, there won’t be any time to clear things up before the unlucky oaf that speaks out of turn finds himself with a ruptured trachea, and, see, what good will words do then? Either way, he’s on his way to the usual spot, that gemstone of a place, The Grand, where the girls are top tier and their dresses show both body and class. Patting down the front and back of his pants, Nishitani double checks that he didn’t forget his wallet.
Money? Okay.
Knife? In his pocket.
Dick? Already getting hard.

Sagawa’s fingers shifted to work at Nishitani’s tie, working at the knot before slipping the tie free, setting it aside. He made quick work of his shirt, working at the buttons before pushing the shirt back and off, setting it aside.
“It’s gonna scar your ink, ya know that, right?” Sagawa asked, tracing his fingertips over a few lines of Nishitani’s dark tattoo that covered his arm.
“I don’t care,” Nishitani said, shaking his head. “It’s just ink, I got plenty of it on me,” he laughed a bit, Sagawa letting out a deep sigh, picking up the small knife from the side of the bed.
