Summary
This was supposed to be an original work with original characters and that...honestly didn't last very long. So yeah, here's an original piece of fan fiction that's incomplete but I'm still working on it. <3
Commander Rogers, it has a nice ring to it and these days, Steve definitely prefers the Commander title. Captain's just...it's too much pressure and he's grateful to have hung up the shield. Now he gets to retire, in peace, hopefully. That's what today is about. It's moving day and he should be thrilled and he is, it's just...it's a change and he's never been particularly good with change. He's managing though and besides, his new house is beautiful and surrounded by mountains and greenery and yeah, it's a bit cold, but it's beautiful out here and so quiet. This is going to be good for him, he knew that. Knows it.
Moving Day doesn't exactly go according to plan, though. At least he's met a few friendly faces and everyone seems nice enough. Including James, the sweet book shop owner with a warm smile and kind eyes and great taste in desserts.
But a particularly bad snow storm has stolen his attention along with a surprise visit from a friend. The rest of Moving Day does not go nearly as planned.

(With a lot of flashback into the past of how Stephen and Tony met before Iron Man 1, got together, fell apart, only to have all roads lead back to each other again.)

Summary
Two years ago, Bucky returned home from the war, disillusioned, injured, and angry. Two months ago, he started working at Rogers Records, recording other bands when all he wants is for his band to be the one performing. Two minutes ago, he ran into a mysterious stranger at the grocery store who argued with him over the last box of Eggos, kissed him, and ran off with the waffles.
And now he can't stop thinking about him.
Bucky sees him everywhere: on the album cover he's recording, walking by his sound booth. And then, as he's staying late at work one night, he hears someone singing down the hall. But that can't be right - because that's his song, one that he's never performed for anyone. He isn't really surprised though to find that it's the stranger who kissed him in the grocery store that night. Only someone who can seemingly appear and disappear like this stranger can could possibly be singing a song he's never sung for anyone.
The stranger offers him a chance: a chance to get his life back on track, to perform for the owner of the biggest record company in the world, a chance to get his band back and make it big. With an offer like that, how could Bucky refuse?

Lucifer Morningstar was crushed when Chloe betrayed him, and ran from him in tears, 'terrified' of him. He was planning to stay in his penthouse for the foreseeable future, until Linda came over and reminded him that he had other people besides Chloe in his life; he still had friends and siblings that loved him, and someday he'd find someone new to love him romantically, someone who wouldn't betray him, and who would accept all that he is, and love him for it. With the help of his friends, he will slowly but surely recover from this.
Steve Rogers was heartbroken and angry, but also glad to be free. With the help of his closest friends, Bucky, Sam, and Natasha, he got away from his abusive ex-boyfriend, Tony Stark. He was still hurt, and a part of him still missed Tony, but, with the help of his friends, and the therapist they made him get, he will come to terms with it, realize that none of it was his fault, and heal.
These two sad, traumatized men meet when Lucifer decides to move to New York, wanting a change of scenery, and to go somewhere that he won't be reminded of Chloe. They realize that they have a lot in common, find solace in each other, and get the second chance at love that they both deserve.

It's been a year since the events of the Avengers' Civil War. Tony Stark is trying to pick up the pieces of his life, while juggling his work, his remaining friendships, getting therapy sessions for Rhodey and dealing with government politics, as well as the Accords.
It is a bit rough, but he's got Pepper (always a steady rock by his side), Rhodey, Happy and the Kid- Peter Parker. Tony would never admit to it up front and center, but you could always catch a proud look on the man's face whenever the young Spiderling was mentioned!
Life seemed to be looking up...
Except for one, minor detail:
Steve Rogers.
The hope for one reconciliation, surprisingly, led to another!
A new bond that would form that Tony would ultimately always be thankful for.

“Twelve,” Steve corrects a little numbly, because that’s the easiest part he can address. “I went down on February 2nd. It took them a while to determine whether or not to let the public know. To weigh the demoralization my death will cause against the vengeful heroics my sacrifice will inspire. Clearly, they decided on the latter eventually, but I’ve been told it was pretty close.”

When Steve uses the last of his Pym Particles to travel to 1944 and save his best friend, he doesn’t have a plan beyond leaving behind the battlefield and living his life alongside the people he loves.

Updated Summary: This evolved into more plot-heavy of Tony dealing with the rogue avengers, his new team, and James Barnes helping him while most of the rogues find bittersweet roads to redemption. (Not All) Surprised I even wrote for Clint and Scott arcs.
