Summary
They had lost. Salem had succeeded with her plan, and had laid the continent to ruin. There was nothing left of Atlas, Mantle, its people...nothing. But a fragment of Ozpin's powers remain in Oscar, and it's enough for a shred of hope. They couldn't fix what had happened, but perhaps, they could stop it before it ever occurred. Qrow would stop at nothing to save what he had lost, including James and Clover. Even if that meant travelling back in time and having to relieve that recent trauma.
But, when you mess with time, it tends to bite back.
Despite knowing what's going to happen, Qrow soon realizes that he can't always prevent the destined path. Clover's death looms ahead, and James' spiral into his own pit of fear still sends shockwaves throughout Atlas. It's the only chance he has, however, at a sliver of a happy ending.

Summary
In the Endless Woods, children dream of attending the School for Good and Evil, where only the best train to be the best heroes or villains they can be. After their third year of study, they're assigned quests and sent out into the Endless Woods to follow them. If they're lucky, the Storian, a magical pen, will choose their story to write and send all over the Endless Woods.
Qrow hails from a long line of villains who all attended the School for Evil, so it makes sense that he and Raven are chosen to attend it too. They have a goal in mind from the minute they step into the school: to be the best villains the world has ever seen, therefore breaking Evil's two hundred year losing streak. The best part? They plan on doing it together.
Clover hails from a line of heroes too, if you count his grandfather, who was a fisherman in Aesop's Fables. Okay, so maybe he's no Prince Charming, (except to Qrow... but that's another story) but at least he made it here.
Every prince has his princess, and villains never find love. That's the way it works, and the way it always will work. Except it's not a princess that Clover wants, and Qrow does end up finding love after all.

Summary
He asks if Clover is alone, his voice accented and thick and a little too loud, as if unused to the clarity that the air provides. Clover winces, blanches, says yes.
When Clover asks him, words formed painstakingly through a ragged, hoarse throat, where Qrow calls home, he can only respond with a flick of his tail, a splash immediately swallowed by the endless tide beyond.
Clover nods. Then, he points upwards. "Home," he breathes.
Qrow understands. This creature has been abandoned, too.

Summary
In the wake of destruction, Qrow reunites with someone he thought he had lost. But fate is a cruel mistress, dangling a prize just out of reach.
"Qrow’s eyes caught the sight of pale tattered fabric, ones he recognized as hospital garbs. Bandages wrapped around the body’s limbs and chest cemented the fact that this was a very lost patient. His eyes trailed upwards and Harbinger clattered to the ground. The man stirred but Qrow couldn’t bring himself to react. The huntsman stumbled backwards, his breath hitching in his throat. The man’s eyes fluttered open, piercing teal glazed towards the sky."
