To Hamlet, Wittenberg is heaven on earth. It all works out rather well for him and he finds himself thinking that perhaps these will be the most carefree years of his life. Except then there is another thing, and it happens to Hamlet unexpectedly and mercilessly - that thing is namely: falling in love with Horatio.

    Summary

What *really* happened to Hamlet when he was captured by pirates on his journey to England? Maybe it was mere bad luck, maybe it was all part of Hamlet's master plan, or maybe it was Shakespeare getting lazy and using a deus ex machina to fix a gaping plot hole. We've been speculating for centuries, but the mystery has finally been solved!

This is a deleted scene that fits in between IV.V and IV.VI, illustrating exactly how Hamlet's unfortunate (or possibly planned?) pirate encounter occurred, how he managed to dispose of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern so easily and write back to Horatio from the middle of the ocean, and more! Also, Jack Sparrow is there, because of course he is.

    Summary

Its literally the play Hamlet but I rewrote it as a novel in (mostly) modern English because god gave me free will and I'm gonna make him regret it. Lines from the original play have been edited to make it more readable for audiences that aren't over 400 years dead, but the plot is the same. Each chapter will (likely) be one scene.

Horatio has a passion for tabletop roleplaying games, so no one is surprised when he reveals that he’s brought his DnD set to Elsinore.

Everyone in Hamlet gets together to play D&D and they (mostly) enjoy it. No one’s dead. Huzzah.

“Badiou,” Dr. Polonius dribbles on, undeterred. “Bah!” Then he lets a sly side eye follow Horatio’s gaze up the Board of Notice, and chuckles.

“No wonder you’re distracted. Bit ghost-like, eh? Metaphysics 101: King, Hamlet. Half the Common Room did a double take. It’s the son, actually.”

After her mother's tragic death, Ophélie Howard finds herself completely alone...and at the mercy of the one who wants her late mother's inheritance. Things go so far that an attempted murder takes place against her.
But, after having almost drowned, Ophélie not only unexpectedly survives...but she finds herself in another place during another time...and in another body.

She's now Ophelia, the daughter of Polonius, chief counsellor of the Danish king at the court of Elsinore. Still with her memory untouched, dragged into a world made of palace intrigues, envies, murders, vengeful ghosts and madness, and being the centre of the unwanted attentions of brooding Prince Hamlet, Ophélie must find a way to go back to her former life...before she becomes the victim of the story Shakespeare wrote many years ago.

Hamlet shudders in Horatio's arms, his low cry a blessing. The unseen linden-leaves shake, wild with wanting.

“Are you afraid?” Horatio gasps, his fingers fanned like wings in Hamlet's dark hair.

Hamlet nods, smile disarmed, pressing their foreheads together. “But what of that?”

It's then that Horatio knows his faith is branch and nest enough, whatever horrors may yet come to haunt them.

Hamlet. The sole daughter of the royal family, and heir apparent to the throne. Everyone knows her name-- but who was she, before Wittenberg, before the tragedy we all know so well?

A semi-chronological and non-canonical depiction of the life of Hamlet, before everything went to shit. Characters are based around interpretations of the show in a recent production of Hamlet that I was a part of.
