Summary
“Oh, you sweet demon.” Aziraphale touched a finger to Crowley’s long nose. “You make me forget.”. . .
“Forget what?” Crowley wrinkled up his nose in confusion. He reached out to stroke Aziraphale’s arm, running his thin hand over Aziraphale’s soft forearm and down further to lace their fingers together with a squeeze. . .
“You make me forget…” Aziraphale paused for a beat, “…about a past that wasn’t always the greatest. A system that proved toxic… All I remember is the happiness you give me.”
Aziraphale and Crowley reflect on what they mean to each other.

Summary
Anthony J Crowley's been living rough since he was kicked out by his parents as a kid. Somehow he's made it to the age of 40 and he's still alive, but if you asked him, he's not really sure how the hell he's managed it. It's not been pretty.
Alistair Zachariah (Az) Fell runs a bookshop, but is still under the strict yoke of his parents: their eternal disappointment. 40 years old and he's desperately unhappy and hit crisis point.
They meet (again?) as inpatients in an acute mental health ward. They have nothing in common. Obviously. How could they? They're practically opposites.
So why are they so drawn to one another?

They targeted their clit with deadly accuracy; chasing an orgasm as soon as possible so they could just think.
They were just getting close as a large hand grabbed their arm, startling them into stopping, and a husky, tired voice filtered into their ear.
“You're going a little fast there, love,” Aziraphale murmured, clearly half-asleep, “Barely been at it for 10 minutes and you already seem ready to pop.”
~~~~~~
Or: Crowley tries to pull off a quick orgasm when they wake up horny and subby. Aziraphale wakes up and decides they're rushing it and helps them slow down a little.Series
Summary
Aziraphale Fell is an accomplished food writer and book collector who leads a quiet life. Anthony Crowley, owner of the Grand Duke Distillery, has a wild reputation that’s more fiction than fact. As former culinary school classmates, they share a love of food and drink — and a history of a long ago, lingering kiss. Years later, their friendship simmers into a heated affair that might just lead to true love — if they can overcome their own doubts.
Aziraphale rises from his chair, takes a few steps towards him, then hesitates. Crowley knows a hundred different emotions must be flickering across his face, reflecting all the turmoil between his head and his heart. His heart is loud, insistent, nudging him to see the earnest hope in Aziraphale’s expression, to remember the beatific boy who lent him a pen and kissed him on a stair step, urging him to not let go of this man with ink-stained fingers and rare books who constantly surprises him.
His shoulders tense as his breath hitches, his voice hoarse. “You need to tell me exactly what you want.”
Summary
Crowley had closed himself into the master bathroom- not locked, never locked -and was crumpled in front of the floor length mirror on one of its walls.
Something was itching under his skin. His reflection stared back at him, looking wrong in a way he couldn't explain.
He had woken up like this. He doesn't want Aziraphale to see him. Not when he could barely stand to look at himself; not when being perceived was causing him to almost feel nauseous.
Summary
Vaguely, he wondered if the angel would remember using the nickname “pet”, and if he did, if he would be willing to do it more often.
But, well, that wasn't drunk Crowley's problem. He could deal with it in the morning.
~~~~~~
It was now the morning, and Crowley had no idea how to deal with it.
Aziraphale had yet to wake up- on the few occasions he did sleep, he would be out like the dead for at least 12 hours -so the demon had no way to tell if he had remembered that one little word.
~~~~~~
Or: Aziraphale uses a new nickname while drunk one night. Crowley has some opinions on it, and manages to share them with him the day after.Series
Summary
“May I braid your hair, my dear?” Aziraphale’s voice was soft and almost purring, his chest rising and falling peacefully against Crowley’s head. His broad, warm hands were gentle and soothing where they were stroking through the demon’s cascading ginger-and-silver-streaked hair, which he had been letting grow out almost naturally since he and Aziraphale had found their home with each other and their cottage in the South Downs.
(In a shared moment of peaceful intimacy, Aziraphale braids Crowley's hair. Very short & sweet.)
“Yeah, yeah I'm. ‘M fine. No nightmares, or anything, just,” Crowley tried and failed to remember the practices he had done for this conversation before he just decided to barrel on with; “Um. Are you going anywhere today? Shopping? Any type of shopping?”
Aziraphale tilted his head slightly in confusion, “Yes, why? Do you need me home today, love?” His voice was earnest and caring, and Crowley had to swallow a whine to continue with his little idea.
“No- no, you don't need to stay home. It's. Kinda the opposite?” He flinched at his vague wording, shaking his head, “Not quite, cus it's not a need, but I was thinking maybe I could… maybe I could come with you?”
Summary
"I have no doubt you're well aware that I have resigned. You're being ridiculous as usual." Aziraphale knew that would get under Crowley's skin and prevent him from walking out.
"I'm ridiculous?! Ha! You took a promotion without knowing exactly what you were getting into! Obedient Angel Aziraphale, always doing what he's told, no questions asked! How's that for ridiculous?!"
"Tell me, Crowley, how did asking questions work out for you?" Aziraphale regretted it the moment the words passed his lips. Using Crowley's fall as ammunition against him was low and he wished he could take it back.
(The Second Coming has been cancelled, Aziraphale is back and Crowley is livid. They fight/have sex/talk about it.)
