Summary
The loneliness was colder than the water in which he had fallen. It ate him from the inside out, crawling around in the empty chasm that had formed inside of him. It clawed at him, scraped against his insides like it was trying to escape his all-too-human body. Eddie had never thought it was possible to feel too human. But he did.

“You can tell me about how tired you aren’t,” Buck says, hauling Eddie up and getting a better grip on his waist, “while I carry you to bed.”
“Yours?” Eddie asks. When Buck looks, he’s got a little furrow between his brows, endearingly confused.
Buck snorts gently, managing to get them both up the stairs without injury. “You are at my apartment, Eddie.”

Summary
.. Its so nice to be insane, No one asks you to explain.
Eddie Kaspbrak knew that most of the town were certain he was as bat shit crazy as the weird man who lived in the old neibolt house- And he probably was..In his own way- It was the music you see..It draws you in and it never seems to let Eddie go. He spends his whole weekends holled up in his bedroom pressed close to his radio trying his damn best to catch every sound and word that falls from the speakers.
..Sometimes, A boy would knock on his window, Climbing all his lengthy limbs into his small closet like bedroom and chattering away next to Eddie while he tries his best to concentrate on both the boy and the music spilling out next to his ear.

“What can I say? I was born defective."
“No,” Eddie says sharply, surprising even himself. Hen and Chim share a look between them as Buck furrows his brow in confusion.
“Hey, Eds,” Buck softens, clearly trying to figure out where he misstepped. This was hardly the first time he has made the joke and that was exactly the problem. “It’s just a joke.”
“And if Chris made that joke? Would it be funny then?”
Or, Eddie is not here for anyone talking poorly about the man he loves, not even Buck himself. Especially not Buck.

“Hey dad!” That wasn’t Buck. Oh no. Why was Christopher calling him? Why from Buck’s phone?

Summary
Eddie takes a deep breath. “What if Bobby splits us up? What if there’s, like… some kind of rule about relationships and working together? Buck, I can’t do it. You know how many times we’ve almost died. I don’t want you out there scaling cranes if I’m not there to have your back.”
“You always have my back,” Buck says immediately, soft. “You always have my back, and I always have yours. That’s the deal, right?”
“But what if Bobby doesn’t let us?”
OR: three times Buck and Eddie (think they) manage to hide their relationship, and one time the truth comes out.
