    Summary

Cassie's Host were not the only survivors of the Necromancers War. In stricken Antarctica a traitor colony lurks, huddling beneath the ruins of the long-dead alien race whose secrets they were sent to uncover. Starving and desperate, they open up the Ghost Roads in search of a place they can flee to, a parallel world where the Last Continent blooms green and bright and fertile.

When they find it, they might just wish they hadn't.

Whilst Alex and Cassie are treated better than the rest of the Host, a prison camp on Dartmoor isn't exactly the greatest place to pursue a blossoming romance. Nonetheless, they do their best.

Chapter 3: In which Alex has something of a captive audience for his brainstorming. Death Rays are involved.

    Summary

A Laundry Files and S.O.E based story set in WW2 and later. Charles Stross specifies that the Laundry was a department of SOE started in WW2,so these stories take that idea and try to widen out the Laundryverse. Since there was a rapid and top down enforcement of female employment in the service of the State then the idea of women succeeding in the Laundry follows naturally. Of course the main character has to be an outsider, but not too far outside, so Helen has an Anglo Indian family background.

When Nora discovered that her husband really had been murdered, and her son kidnapped, she reverted to the training she had received before meeting Nate, when she was a Harvard law student by day, and an operative for a black agency by night. Of course, her training hasn't exactly prepared her for what she's discovering in the new, post-war Commonwealth.

As described in "The Fuller Memorandum," when F met TEAPOT again at the end of his stint teaching school, he described TEAPOT as "unrecognizable." What happened to transform the Eater of Souls into our favorite scary Laundry bureaucrat? I thought I'd have a shot at finding out.

Eliot made it home, but he's not okay. Parker and Hardison try to help. Everybody drinks a lot of tea.

Or: The Leverage/Laundry AU nobody needed. This is a Leverage story with only brief cameos from The Laundry Files. I don't think you need to have read any of the Laundry books, but if you're a Laundry fan who hasn't seen Leverage, you'll be confused.
