    Summary

Achilles, a typical rich kid, moves to the picturesque town of Troy, along with his recently divorced father. Troy is lovely, clean, privileged and oh so fake - it doesn’t take Achilles long to realise that he’s in Pandora’s Box.

Someone is missing. That someone is captured in a bright smiling photo with a crown of brunette curls and bronze skin on the missing poster at Trojan High - it’s the Boy. The nameless Boy that haunts his dreams with summer sun and crystal laughter.

But, he saw him - he’s seen him several times, why hasn’t anyone else?

    Summary

Thetis never put Patroclus' name on the tomb at the end of the Song of Achilles. He has been wandering the earth for 3000 years, his name forgotten by almost all. That is, until he gets a visitor.

Takes place once Apollo receives his godliness back at the end of Trials of Apollo, so spoilers for the books that are currently out.

    Summary

“Name one hero who was happy."
    He couldn't.
"You can't," Achilles sat up bringing him with him.
    "I can't," he told him.
"I know. They never let you be famous AND happy." He lifted an eyebrow. "I'll tell you a secret."
"Tell me." Patroclus loved it when he was like this.
"I'm going to be the first." Achilles took his palm and held in his. "Swear it."
"Why me?" His lover could be so mysterious at times.
"Because you're the reason. Swear it."
"I swear it," he said, lost in the high color of Achilles' cheeks, the fire in his eyes.
    "I swear it," he echoed.
Achilles' pink lips tilted up in a blinding smile, "I feel like I could eat the world raw,” before he leaned over to kiss him.
Gods, he was so in love with him. Their kiss grew more and more heated.

    Summary

Carriers are those chosen by the Gods to either carry or father a child. They were either worshiped or seen as abominations to most. For as long as Patroclus could remember his father had forced him conceal his status because it would bring shame to their house. His father may have been right. Patrolcus was carrying the child of Achilles, the foretold Aristo Acharion.
Only he concealed this fact in fear of his lover and goddess mother's reactions. Achilles' one of shock and disgust or Thetis' one rage and retribution

    Summary

Sing to me, goddess, and tell me his story, the man so beloved,
Of his fall into the gold arms of fury that danced as his tears bled.

My mother was a goddess and a daughter of the sea. A nymph. She was taller than any woman, and looked down on the rest of us. Her pale skin was like an ocean pearl, gleaming against the midnight-black of her long hair.

    Summary

The church usually smells like dust and rain and the sun on a warm summers day and it used to fill his chest with this nice buzzing feeling. But it doesn't anymore.

Now it smells like an old attic filled with memories that he doesn't want to remember, that he can't bring himself to remember and it isn't a nice feeling anymore. It hurts.

    Summary

Patroclus is not the Chosen One; he is not even sure he belongs in this world half the time. He knows the Chosen One and he's a boy just like himself—except he’s golden and perfect, he’s the star Quidditch player and he's the most powerful and gifted wizard in history. He’s destined to save all of magic someday. Patroclus kind of wants to hate him but Achilles makes it impossible.

The Harry Potter and Song of Achilles mashup you never knew you wanted (hopefully).

Achilles had the power to bring a city to its knees before its time. The power to defy fate and mold the future to his will. And if Achilles could change the fate of a city, why shouldn’t he be able to change the fate of the dead?

    Summary

Aristos Achaion, they called him. Plucked from the spilled blood between Thetis’ thighs and granted a prophecy by the Gods. He flashed past the other boys, quick as an intake of breath, and Peleus’ face shone. Menoetius turned to Patroclus.

“That is what a son should be.”

When they first started living together, Patroclus told him, I love how you just pose when you do anything. Drinking coffee or watching TV. You just strike these attitudes.
It’s not intentional, Achilles had replied, not knowing whether or not to be insulted.
I know, Patroclus said. That’s why I love it. It’s so you.

Achilles and Patroclus are in love, and happy, and they get a dog.
