Kaeya flirts with anything with a pulse. The Cavalry Captain has somehow charmed the entire city to eat out of his hand, who makes people laugh even as he dodges the most innocuous questions with the most ludicrous answers and is somehow still trusted by everyone. Even Diluc, who loudly and openly professes his burning dislike for the man every chance he can get, has been known to crack a smile in his presence.
Aether is having none of it.
Alternatively: Kaeya doesn’t want to hurt Aether and keeps himself away. Aether is horny and won’t admit it.
