Summary
Nightingales may have disappeared from Berwick Street… But the Nightingale is just about to make an appearance.
The Ineffable Husbands (going through a divorce) team up with the Magical Husbands (aka Thomas Nightingale and Peter Grant) to save Earth… again. Aziraphale, Crowley and the Folly team, with the help of Varvara and the whole pantheon of the Rivers, are running against the clock, trying to stop The Metatron and his “Second Coming” nonsense. This is the Big One, as one very clever demon had predicted.
The story is set in the near future of my RoL’s “How to Survive Eternity” universe (sorry… not sorry :))) For those who are familiar with it, reader discretion is advised. The story spoils A LOT. For those who are blissfully unaware… you don’t really need to know the details, just go with the flow.

If your posh, repressed governor starts reading you The Wizard of Oz while you’re trying to get over Skygarden, is he flirting with you, wrangling his own demons, or both?

Summary
It is summer, Skygarden is dust and so is Peter and Lesleys friendship. In the waters of Cornwall something is stirring and Peter, Nightingale and Varvara must put a stop to it before there is irreparable damage - both to the port of Falmouth and themselves.
This is set post Broken Homes, but pre Foxglove Summer and whilst it heavily references canon, it is really almost a replacement to that novel.

'You know we’re grateful, Abigail? For how much you take care of yourself?’
‘I don’t mind.’ She did mind. She actually minded more the more she thought about it, but thinking about it made her feel guilty, so she never did.

It's mentioned briefly that one of the strategies Peter and Nightingale use to try and get information about the Faceless Man out of Varvara is Copious Amounts Of Alcohol, so I just took that and ran with it to a bunch of unexpected places.
