Axel loves getting letters in the mail, and she’s been asking Mama if she can send a letter to a friend sometime. Uncle Yuuri is probably going to be really busy with all the friends and family who want to see him again now that he’s back home... and Papa says if she’s going to be sneaky she should try doing nice sneaky things instead of ‘mischief’.

Yuri wasn't sure what exactly he had wanted here, but it sure as hell wasn't this.
He didn't want some Japanese god-knows-who to be sitting in the bathroom he was just about to use for his own emotional breakdown. He didn't want to be having an emotional breakdown in the first place but sometimes you just couldn't help it.
Making it into the Grand Prix Final was undeniably thrilling and skyrocketing to the first place after the short program felt like Yuri was standing on the top of the world. He had been excited, nervous, proud, terrified and so, so ready for the next part of the competition.
But the free skate. It all went wrong even before that, but the free skate gave it a damn crown.
Yuri could scream a bloody murder and be justified because there was a murder - Yuri Plisetsky had died today, on that ice. His big Senior debut, shattered, in less than four minutes.It was supposed to be Yuri's big debut, but it fell apart as quickly as his personal life. Enter Viktor, a therapist with a bunch of his own demons.

Of all the people in the world that he could be asked to call, there was one that Yuri Plisetsky had no desire to speak with. Victor Nikiforov, the prodigal son that Yuri had no desire to see return. There was no other option. With Yakov recovering from a stroke and Yuri still recovering from his injury two years ago there were precious few other options. No, that was not true. There were few other options that would make Yakov happy -- and Yuri couldn't say no to the man who was as close as a father after all these years.
If Yakov wanted him to call Victor, he'd call. He knew the man would never come back to Russia. He knew he would get excuses and he'd have to pass those on and it would break Yakov's heart.
Yuri was wrong -- Victor was coming back to Russia.
