He closes his eyes, but he’s still aware of his best friend’s desperate sobs, and Dream’s eerie, catlike silence as he stalks his victim. He hopes Dream will kill him with an arrow or even a sword. An axe is such a brutal, barbaric weapon to use on a person.

When Theseus's father gets arrested, he turns to stealing food from the nearby town of L'Manburg to survive. But when he gets caught, he is given an ultimatum: Go to jail, or join some guy named Philza's dumb sports team. He chooses the latter, signing up under the name Tommy and keeping his ear to the ground, ready to run at the first sign of his father being released. He just has to remember that this isn't permanent. But this team that some players call a "family" isn't going to make that easy for him. And with a championship game coming soon, Tommy finds himself liking being an Exy striker. But this isn't permanent, he can't let himself forget that. He can't have this forever.

But nothing is ever calm for long. When he and Techno get stuck in a hard place with nowhere to go, and Tommy is slaughtered for the last time by Dream, the blond will have to face his past and his demons to fix things once and for all.
He himself was too far gone, but Tommy had not always been Theseus. Perhaps he would not have to be.

Ranboo freezes but slowly turns around again. He meets the gaze of the demon, the leader of the so called Badlands, the armored being in front of him who could kill him without breaking a sweat, and he holds out a hand for Ranboo to take.
“It’s going to rain soon.” BadBoyHalo tells him, voice light. There is no malice in his eyes, only curiosity and concern. “And I’ve heard you don’t like rain. You wanna come inside?”
Ranboo’s head tells him it's a trap but his gut looks Bad in the eyes and knows he’s being genuine. There’s no catch to the offer, it’s simply given to him out of… Pity? The goodness of Bad’s heart? Whatever it is, it makes Ranboo want to collapse on the spot.
When did he get so tired?
