What she didn't know at the time was that before that happens, she's going to lose her mother in an attack orchestrated by the very woman she swore to serve.

Summary
Raelle was ten when she woke up in the middle of the night to the feeling of pins and needles on her inner arm right below her armpit. It was a hot and humid summer night in the Carolina cession so she had gone to sleep in soccer shorts and a black t-shirt. Her skin was on fire and her whole body was covered in sweat. She could feel the skin on her arm tightening and her whole body felt like it was vibrating. Turning on the lamp next to her bedside and roughly rolled up her right sleeve she finally saw it.
Engulfed in the warm glow was a small bird skull with a symbol painted on its head holding two sprigs of lavender in its beak encircled in a piece of yellow twine tied in a knot.

Summary
“Are you going to tell her?” Willa asked.
Scylla turns away from Willa’s stare unconsciously rubbing her chest where the healed scar now resides. “No.”
Willa watching Scylla sighs in resignation, knowing once Scylla’s mind is set nothing will change it. Stubborn girl. “Okay. But she does need to know you are alive.”

Summary
“Can we talk?”
You look her up and down, she looks weaker in a way, almost sullen. Her eyes have somehow dimmed to a cooler blue, not like the bright one it once was. She seems to hold herself almost haphazardly, off kilter. But, there is this pull in your gut as you can still smell the wildflower scent of her that has been there ever since you were child. Her smile, while weak, is still the same one she would give you when she picked you up after school. Her hair, while thin, held the same bounce that made her easily recognizable in a crowd at the grocery store.
She still looked like your mama.

Summary
It was quiet.
The graveyard was always quiet.
In the distance the faint hum of life could be felt vibrating through the wisps of wind meandering carefully along the tips of the yellowed grass to tickle the ear and remind the mind that there was still a world beyond that of death and decay. Where the well manicured plots, orderly and neat, all the same size, all the same color, gave way to vibrancy and movement.
That was in the distance though.
Much like many things in her life seemed to be.

Summary
Willa Collar had done what needed to be done. Scylla Ramshorn...had not. And that had not been part of the goddamned plan.
A Willa-centric fic examining why, exactly, she seems to dislike Scylla so much.

Summary
Raelle was eight years old when she fell in love for the first time.
It wasn’t with Hannah or Jennifer or the redhead who visited town for a few weeks one summer.
It was an old rusted hunk of junk tucked far back in her neighbor’s closet.
It was the banjo.

Summary
When Scylla was about ten years old she and her parents after spending a weekend at the beach, camping out in tents on the sand, letting the lull of waves crashing against the shore just mere feet away from them serve as a lullaby for a young Scylla, she had found this small little trinket.
It wasn’t anything too special, but to Scylla it was everything, and something small enough to keep in her pocket that wouldn’t be too heavy for when they had to get up and move again.
or.
A heavy Spree centered idea of the team up between Military & Spree, all revolving around the burning love and Passion Scylla & Raelle have for each other, because someone out there said they're love has the power to change the world around them, and I'm RUNNING with that idea :)

Summary
Five years after Scylla was transferred to the Caribbean, the war with the Camarilla reaches its peak and the military deploys prisoners to fight at their front lines.
Raelle barely recognizes the woman in front of her, so different from the girl in the dungeon, broken. But she's certain of one thing: She may have told Scylla she can die, but she'll be damned if the military lets her go and fight up front in a losing war.
She won't let the girl she loved think she's disposable again.
