The matriarchs of the Diamond Authority were each glorious and venerable. Not a single one was anything less than flawless and perfect, especially in the eyes of those who served them. White, Yellow, and Blue each exuded power and commanded respect. They each were deserving of praise and admiration, yet in the eyes of one gem there was one Diamond that stood out from the rest. Out of the four exalted Radiances, there was only one that went out of her way to appreciate and spend time with those under her. There was only one that wanted what was best for those under her…

Summary
Blue meets Yellow shortly after her emergence, and quickly realizes she doesn't really want to leave her side. She falls in love without even realizing it, and Yellow's behaviour is only making it worse.
Story flows around all three Diamonds (as the story progresses - four), focusing mainly on Bellow relationship, but includes shipping of pearls :p. Also will contain the moment when Blue let her Pearl draw during trials ;)How exactly does the Diamond Authority look like from inside? What do characters feel? What makes White be so close to a psychopath? Which Diamond actually carries the weight of the whole gemkind on her shoulders?

It was her fault. Both of their forms had been dissipated, and it was all her fault. She knew it, the other zircon knew it, and given the opportunity, the other zircon would rub it in her face. This was her fault, all of it was her fault, and she couldn't deny it. She couldn't take it back, and she couldn't get them out of the cell they were trapped in.
There were no words of comfort to come, because there were no words to be said to save the situation. All they could do was sit in the cell and wonder about what their fate may be. They had nothing in the cell to occupy their time, only the four walls surrounding them...
