Cloud is happy, or so he thinks. He hasn't smiled much over the years, but he loves his wife and he adores his daughter. He's grateful for everything he's been given; it's the way his mother wanted it to be, it's the way he was taught it was supposed to be, and it's everything he could have ever hoped for. He's worked hard for this happy ending and can finally be content, even if things in the bedroom haven't been great (or existent).
Overall, Cloud is a man with his life together... Until his job introduces the new guy.

Alternative Universe. After Nibelhamn is burned to the ground, Sephiroth and Zack are woken up inside of the ShinRa Mansion, and Cloud is suffering from severe Mako poisoning. A scientist, a nurse, and two Turks help them escape the Mansion, just for all to end up in an asylum in Midgar. Inside of the asylum, Sephiroth and Zack learn truths they didn't want to know. Cloud becomes a victim of his own mind while Aerith starts to question everything. Tseng and Reno wonders why they're still with ShinRa.
*Dark Themed, very descriptive medical procedures inside.
