"Maybe it's my fault. They're so happy and clearly in love. Who am I to break that up?" Hoseok asked, his lips trembling as he watched the New Year's countdown.
"You were his boyfriend, hyung," Jimin said softly.
Hoseok shook his head. "Doesn't matter. Standing in the way of that kind of love makes me the villain."
"Love isn't an excuse," Jimin snapped, getting angry now. He hated hearing Hoseok talk like this. He'd come so far but it was like he was backsliding after being faced with how happy Yoongi and Jungkook were now.
"How would you know?" Hoseok asked harshly, not intending to be unkind but doing so anyway.
Jimin flinched back, his eyes drifting to the countdown again, watching the numbers slowly tick down. Hoseok didn't know how he felt, so of course he hadn't meant to hurt Jimin with that comment. As far as Hoseok was concerned, Jimin had never been in love.
God, if he only knew.
- Part 2 of One Last Series
Yoongi felt his back hit the wall before he even realized Jungkook had been moving, before he even realized he had been moving.
"T-this is the last time," Yoongi whispered, his lips already ghosting over Jungkook's neck, revelling in the thrumming pulse he found there, "we can't—"
"Yea, yea, last time," Jungkook quickly agreed as he slotted their lips together, pulling an eager groan from Yoongi. He knew he should stop. They both did. But as Jungkook lifted him up and pinned him against the wall, Yoongi knew he wouldn't. They wouldn't. They were going to hell, but when Jungkook held him like this he didn't care.
- Part 1 of One Last Series
It all started with a phrase.
Just one simple off-hand comment: I could make you come easily.
A joke. A throw-away assurance when Yoongi was feeling down.
But he couldn't stop thinking about it and before he was even aware of what he was doing, Yoongi was at his door: prove it.
“You don’t have his number? Daddy, why not? Don't you like him?” Sanghee asked, tugging at Yoongi’s pants.
“No, it’s not that— um, I—” Yoongi stuttered out, his eyes falling helplessly on Taehyung, who he was surprised to see was blushing slightly, his eyes fixed on the countertop.
“I thought you said he was nice and cute, daddy!”
“I did say that,” Yoongi muttered shyly, his eyes flicking back to Taehyung. “Did you, um, want my number?”
“Sure,” Taehyung agreed. “For the flowers.”
“Right. Just in case something happens.”
“Daddy, you're being weird. I want to go to the art store!” Sanghee demanded, waiting only as long as it took for them to awkwardly exchange numbers before pulling him towards the door. Yoongi had enough time to grab the plant and smile at them before he was dragged out of the store, leaving Taehyung and Jimin in sudden silence.
“That little girl is a delight. He’s a good dad.”
“I love that man," Taehyung replied. "And his daughter. Holy fuck. I want that family.”
