Summary
Magnus Bane was the High Warlock of Brooklyn and he was powerful. He was a leader to his people and influencer to everyone else. Magnus had always known his limits, had always been able to pull exactly what he wanted from his magic when he needed it. He could decimate whole cities to the ground and blow away its ashes without so much as a flick of the wrist. So he could see why Valentine would target him.
