  1. Summary

It ended, as it always did, at Hogwarts.

But the war had been raging for centuries beforehand and would for almost a millennia afterwards, so it was difficult to say if the great battle that took place that day truly ended anything. Perhaps it was more of a defining moment in history – a pin on the very map that was time. And yet, even that was a debatable statement, as the truth was covered up and altered to fit the stories of the victors. To turn them into heroes, into legends, and into myth.

To the Wizarding community, Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin are considered to be the greatest witches and wizards of their age. To that of the Mage society, they are known as the instigators of the largest genocide in recorded history.

    Summary

There are some great quick guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide, dividing all of the available tags into the following categories:

    1. Text Formatting (in-line HTML)
    2. Page Formatting (block HTML)
    3. Tables and Lists
    4. Links and Images

Each tag will have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example.

It will also introduce tag attributes, ways to further refine formatting, for a few simple - but widely applicable - cases.

    Summary

While the world moves on, Cyberlife continues to try and reclaim Connor's program. Hank, torn between ensuring Connor's safety and respecting his desire to be left alone, isn't sure how to do right by his partner now. Meanwhile, Connor goes to the person who gave him the emergency exit to begin with. But Elijah Kamski always has a price, and sometimes it's more obscure than a loaded gun.

Life can be as cold and brutal as the garden, and not all storms can be escaped. Only weathered.

[Alternatively: Connor and Hank spend some time apart, spend some more time together, and slowly steal back their lives in the face of profound adversity.]

    Summary

“So why is it that some androids deviate in isolation and others require the transfer of the concept in order to understand it?”

Connor keeps his hands behind his back, looking out the massive windows and at the lake beyond. The house seems to be perched half on the water, like at any moment it might skim over the surface like a stone.

Hank shifts on the deep pile rug next to Connor, hovering close. Connor prefers this; Hank can satisfy his need to be—and feel—protective while remaining in an optimal place for Connor to intervene in case of danger.

“That remains undetermined at this time,” Connor says. It’s not an answer to the question, and he’s no longer tilted toward making a full report to Kamski by his programming.

In the new world, things just have to keep moving on. Connor accepts a task on behalf of Cyberlife in the aftermath of the Battle of Detroit, and remains at Detective Anderson's side to solve the simpler things, like who he actually is.
