Inuyasha is a lucky guy. Managing to stay on the right side of the track in a metropolis that near dragged its inhabitants into degeneracy was a feat in and of itself. So what if he hated his job? So what if his best friend was overbearing and his so-called guardian was crazy? None of that matters when you can barely remember your own name.

Summary
Kagome hadn't met anyone who journeyed to the Underworld and returned, so she knew not to trust the tales of what went on there. But still, that fact scared her--no one returned from the Underworld. Yes, she was a goddess and the rules were different for her, but she couldn't help her skin crawling at the thought of what she was about to do. Then again, there was no way Hell was worse than her fate here.
