    Summary

A small woman carrying a briefcase scurried to the counter, sitting in the empty seat near the lounging figure. Brushing away the dust on her dark purple pencil skirt, the woman sat, fidgeting with the collar of her lighter purple blouse before she opened the worn briefcase and placed a manila folder before the figure. She cleared her throat.

"I've got a job for you, it pays a lot," she said, getting straight to the point.

The figure barely glanced at her, continuing to drink, enjoying the burn of the alcohol.

"It's a wonder how you found me.”

    Summary

"All things that begin, must end."

He had told them that the day after they had received the harsh, death-ridden news that would slip into their peaceful life like a Spy, it's knife poised to bring them down into a shuddering corpse. Except this time, the Spy couldn't be burnt, for fire wouldn't drive away this invisible foe. Nothing could drive away death, as it would now claim them with open arms, as there was no respawn to hold it back.

Now, three months later, they could feel the grip of death's hand on their back as they followed the BLU Spy through the undergrowth. Every part of them itched to light the Spy on fire, watch them try to run as the flames crawled up them and burnt them for the sins that those of his kind had committed- but the looming shadow of reality remained. The reality that they would be alone, if it was not for the Spy in front of them.

    ------------------------

A story in which the RED Pyro and the BLU Spy are abandoned on Mercenary Park by their teams after they are presumed dead. As they race against the clock to return to their teams, they come across an unsettling discovery and must choose between unearthing the truth or taking the mystery to their graves.

It's amazing. I truly love this fic.

Pyro and Spy's interaction and dynamic is a treat to read. It feels solid, laced with suspicion and fear. They keep dancing around each other. The suspicion and distrust between the two is done really well, it also keeps up. Consistently and skillfully.

Spy is characterized real swell. He's snarky (not too much tho), mysterious (per usual), and surprisingly tolerant. But his tolerance, I think is purely motivated by fear. Pyros do hunt Spies after all.
He's not insufferable or too soft and dandy. It's a complexe balance and I live for it.

Pyro's character, I think is done exceptionally excellent! They're not portrayed as a soft, little pyromantic child (i don't have problem with soft pyro, but i do like the change of pace!) . They're serious and act like an actual mercenary, but they do have childness sprinkled here in there. It's such a lovely blend.
Pyroland is done amazingly well. It's very visual and insane. It's so real... I think it's done magnificently.

Author's very, very good at painting a picture. It's very vivid (least to me). The details are astounding! The plot is also interesting and keeps up.

I adore such skills and artistic visuals. Even if it never gets finished, I'll still keep it close.

*remember to check on it sometimes. not giving up hope yet,

    Summary

TF2 Kid!Scout AU. When all of RED is woken up at the ass-crack of dawn by an ear-splitting screech of metal on metal, they’re treated to a very shocking sight; an RV that’s back-end is on fire wedged into the garage door- or rather, what’s left of it- with hardly any reason for being there. If that weren’t worrying enough, the team pulls out three children from the rubble, without a single adult in sight. Where did these kids come from? Where are their parents? Do they even HAVE parents? Either way, it's not safe to take the kids to the police, and with no one on the team willing to smother three kids... congratulations, RED team, you're ALL parents now!

Very nicely written and very cute and charming. The characters are solidly written. The author also sticks in some humor here and there, so everything's not all sad.

Plus, Medic's accent is top notch 100% there all the time. I'd say the author got it down, REALLY well!

Overall, genuinely enjoyable. Interesting plot - I suppose it's more on the family dynamics. Lovely portrayal of the cast. It also made me care about The Administrator, heh.

I'd describe it as, bittersweet with a side of despair and a heaping of fluff. As well, a pinch of car crash. It's also a well-thought out au. It's lovely to read and lovely to see!

    Bookmarker's Notes

It's a relaxing thing all around. Sure there's moments of action, but I think the soft vibe blankets most of it.

The oc is surprisingly really good. He's chill and has a disability, but he's determined and such. I think he is a solid guy.

I think the way the plot is going, is rather enjoyable and interesting. My favorite thing though, Is the character interactions. Author gets a bit poetic at times, I enjoy it.
I like the insight into the characters at times, I just love seeing stuff like that.

It's really chill, I like it. It's like watching rain with hot chocolate while studying. Really reminds me of the lo-fi music playlists.

Overall, it's well written and a delight to read. It's also slightly inspiring, maybe the wording at times, the character's emotions.. I dunno. But it is nice.
