    Summary

    Alexander Hamilton is a startlingly brilliant Master's student with a chip on his shoulder, a hunger he wears on his sleeve, and a future riding on his ability to turn a controversial thesis topic into politically savvy masterpiece.

    George Washington is the top queer theorist in the country, his academic prowess overshadowed only by his husband Lafayette's international fame as a model-cum-photographer. He doesn't do supervisions, and he doesn't get involved with his students.

    [or, a story about the things we cannot speak, about the erotics of academia, about the journey of becoming].

    Summary

    When all was said and all was done, they were Thomas Jefferson, the arrogant yet charming, drop dead gorgeous cool guy who, of course, most definitely did not have any feelings for the coworker he was in love with at all, and Alexander Hamilton, the loud, unfiltered god damn beautiful pride of America who always seemed to think he was the smartest in the room. He usually was. They were at each other's throats constantly, crowding in just this side of too close, a few too many lingering touches, stolen glances to really hate each other. And everyone but them knew it.

    Plausible Deniability;
    [art form]
    1a. A condition in which a subject can safely and believably deny knowledge of any particular truth that may exist because the subject is deliberately made unaware of said truth so as to benefit or shield the subject from any responsibility associated through the knowledge of such truth.
    1b. The ability to deny any involvement in specific activities, because there is no clear evidence to prove involvement. The lack of evidence makes the denial credible, or plausible.
    1c. An unsuccessful coping mechanism with which to strategically avoid any open, honest conversation in which one might possibly be rendered horrifically vulnerable.
    1d. See Image; Alexander Hamilton.
