Summary
When Heavy comes stomping down the corridor, Medic knows to hide. He hides from everything the older mercinary can throw at him, words, fists, even the odd chair. Footsteps like those only mean pain and death. Medic knows those two all two well. Pain is an aged maiden dressed in red, blood pooling at her feet like the folds of her crimson dress, and her sister; death stands behind her draped in black, a veil of thin black mesh covering skeletal face that is pulled into a taught frown as eyes as dark as the sockets they're held in observe the world with a glare of icey apathy. The black clad sister takes his hand and they waltz into the black oblivion and Medic knows that this is true:
It wasn't safe there.
