“I try to take special care with all the books here, new or old. They’ll all become old some day,” You explain, a bit shyly but no less honestly. “And I want to make sure they’re all preserved to enjoy as long as possible.”
Aziraphale’s eyes shine, like you had just read him the most moving poetry.

Summary
You take a deep breath, closing your eyes, trying to remember your long learned tricks to steady yourself and your mind. After a few calming breaths, your heart rate feels a bit more normal, but you can still feel the shakiness in your fingers and the tremble in your bottom lip. Without thinking, your hand reaches to your phone, plugged into the charger next to you. Flicking through the lock screen, you call the only person you imagine would be awake at this hour, fingers working quickly before your logical mind can argue against it.
For the prompt:
"Reader has really bad insomnia and Aziraphale decides to keep her company through the night and + it turns into an improvised indoor camping date night with lots of cuddles, cocoa, snacks and book reading until reader gets exhausted enough to fall asleep."
Reader's gender and name are not specified in this story

Summary
There was a long period after the apocalypse where Aziraphale was unsure what to do, caught between this odd limbo of How Things Were and How Things Were Going to Be. Aziraphale, of course, had a keen idea of what he wanted How Things Were Going to Be to look like. However, the angel found Crowley's thoughts to be a bit more elusive. The demon acted content, but Aziraphale could see something just behind the scenes, something he wouldn’t have noticed if he didn’t know the demon for several millennia. Crowley seemed...uncomfortable, for lack of a better word.
The angel, determined for things to be different this time around, would not let the matter be brushed under the rug.

Summary
If you had asked him what his brand looked like, Kravitz would have been unable to answer. After all, the mark had faded away the day he was accepted into the Raven Queen's service. Taako, however, knew exactly what he had, a black raven disturbed by a single slash, the universally understood sign that your soul’s mate had died. Both had given up on the idea of possibly having someone out there fated to them. But when Taako gets a job at the cafe the grim reaper frequents, well, fate may decide to prove them both wrong.

"This understanding he gained from seeing the mark made the idea of moving in with the man so ludicrous. Because John knew that Sherlock could never be The One, no matter what a mark on his arm said. He was always taught as a small child that your markmate was crafted by the heavens above as someone who was perfect for you. And while he never really took much religion and fairy tale to heart as he got older, he knew from a very young age that his mate would never be an Alpha. "

“I guess there’s only one thing left to settle, then.”
Aziraphale’s brow furrows confusedly. “And what would that be?”
Crowley grins like the cat who got the cream. “How much do I get paid, and when do we start?”

Summary
Aziraphale stared at his reflection. He looked pale aside from the light dusting of pink that was slowly fading from his face. His eyes looked too bright, almost fearful. His blond curls were more disheveled than usual, undoubtedly from the nervous hands that had been carding through it as the reality of his… situation hit him with all the gentleness of a punch to the face. He gripped the sides of his sink and looked his reflection in the eyes.
You are a sugar baby. You have a sugar daddy. Crowley is your sugar daddy.

Summary
After the argument in St. James Park, Crowley tries to sleep for the next twenty years, but he is plagued by dreams of Aziraphale. Finally, he gets up and attempts to clear his head. But when he sees Aziraphale going into a posh building wearing a green carnation, along with several other men also wearing the flower, he assumes that the angel is out to win souls at a brothel. That should be entertaining to watch, he thinks. So he gets himself a green carnation and follows Aziraphale (and the other men) inside.
He quickly finds out that it is not a brothel - but that there is a tremendous amount of sex going on. That is shocking, but not as shocking as when the sex starts happening to him.

Summary
Crowley is a big fan of Angel Reads, a niche podcast where a charming and snarky "Angel" gives his opinions on books he reads. Crowley's not a huge reader, but he likes the way Angel talks about the stories he loves. Meanwhile, Aziraphale isn't nearly as confident in real life as he seems on his show. It leaves him loved but still painfully lonely.
One day a new Angel Reads episode comes out and Aziraphale insults books that Crowley actually really likes. It leaves Crowley mad enough that he actually writes in to complain...but it quickly turns into a playful, maybe even flirty, correspondence.
It's not just heroes who have to be brave. Good thing these two have read enough stories to know how things go next!
