    Summary

Adora spent so long using the same mirror on herself whenever Catra wasn't in the room. That mark. It meant Catra. Adora had been so sure. She'd stare at it for minutes at a time and feel warmth bloom in her chest.

Now that warmth is gone, replaced by something closer to lead. There's someone better waiting for Catra. There's someone who, according to the very system Adora subscribes to, is guaranteed to love her in a way Adora fundamentally cannot.

With that heartbreaking realization lodged firmly in her throat, she forces out the only word she can. "Oh."

Friends though they are, Catra and Adora couldn't be more different; the recent marks on their skin are a stark reminder that the universe seems to agree. The simple reality is that Catra will never be Adora's soulmate, nor will Adora ever be Catra's. For most, this reality would be fine.

It probably even would be fine... if only they weren't so deeply in love.

    Summary

They were the best duo net-ball had ever seen – selected and trained together since childhood to be perfectly synchronized partners. Then Adora disappeared the day before signing her renewal contract with the Horde. Catra has to find out she has signed to a different team on the news.
They are bitter exes, bitter rivals. At least to Catra. Adora is still trying to explain what happened - and get her back.
(AKA the AU where I know so little about sports I invent my own just to get Catra and Adora to hook up in a bathroom. Also Shadow Weaver is here and no one wants her to be. And there's barely any sports).

    Summary

Ever since they kissed at the end of senior year, Catra has avoided Adora. The only time Adora even gets to see her is at drunken college parties. Catra never wants Adora in the light of day, though.
Catra loves Adora, but the only time Adora is willing to sink to her level is when she is drunk. Catra still keeps coming back for more.
(Or, these two idiots had their first kiss drunk, and now they’re both convinced the other doesn’t want them sober. And it’s a college au. No drunk sex, but there will be smut.)

    Summary

A pining/getting together fic series for Catradora set in Modern Etheria. Fics are in recommended read order, not chronological.

Chronological order (might not make sense to read this way):
    everything is perfect
    before (you loved me)
    on the other side
    let them talk
    talk (dirty) to me

I may return to this series and add more fics in this verse at a later date, so I encourage people to stay subscribed, but the story is now complete.
