“Franklyn.” Hannibal greets him with a nod.
“It’s so good to see you here,” Franklyn gushes. “Hello, I’m Franklyn Froideveaux. And this is my friend, Tobias Budge.”
Hannibal turns his gaze to the man Franklyn is gesturing to, intrigued to see two newcomers instead of one. He inclines his head to Tobias, a man with sharp, dead eyes that are trained on Hannibal in obvious interest. “And your other friend?” Hannibal prompts.
Franklyn looks flustered, turning red as he avoids everyone’s gaze. “Right, that’s— uh, Tobias, I suppose you should do the honors. He’s your friend after all.”
Tobias doesn’t extend his hand out, offering a small smile instead. “Of course. I’ve heard so much about you; it’s nice to finally put a face to a name.” With one arm snaked around the waist of his companion standing next to him, Tobias gives another insincere smile. “This is Will Graham.”

Summary
There is a village, nestled on the edge of an ancient forest where it is always winter. Few of the townsfolk ever venture into it, except for one lonely hunter named Will Graham. A loner who makes his living selling stag meat and spends more time with dogs than people, he finds his life changing when he comes face-to-face with a magical beast, one that he cannot get away from, and isn’t even sure he really wants to.

Summary
Takes place starting near the middle of Relevés (season 1, episode 12) Despite some inclusion of it, this is not a Will Graham torture heavy fic.
Will stumbles on the entrance to Hannibal's basement and realizes just who it is he has been dining with. Hannibal catches him and instead of killing him outright, decides to try and keep him. Unable to resign himself to death, Will decides to allow himself to be drawn into an existence of imprisonment at Hannibal's whims, thought likely dead by everyone who has known him and looking for his chance to escape.
