Summary
Saguru's mother is remarrying, and the pressure is on for him to bring a date to the wedding if for no other reason than to get his family off of his back. Unlikely as it may seem, it's Kaito who he turns to for help.
Originally, Kaito thought this would be a great way to get some new insights on his enemy-slash-unlikely-ally, but it quickly turns out to be a more complicated situation than he originally foresaw.

Summary
Preceding episode 738/chapter 853 (Kogoro in the Bar). Kaito calls to consult his favorite detective about something strange he's observed at the Blue Parrot. Maybe Saguru can help him puzzle this thing out.“Ahh, Detective Hakuba,” came an unexpectedly familiar voice. This English was accented just lightly with Japanese, almost indiscernible. Saguru caught himself smiling. “I was wondering—do you do consultations over the phone for potential clients?”
Kaito was calling him.

He saw the suit before he saw the boy. Fabric torn and stained. Cape and glider supports strewn along the ground, separated from the rest of him and torn to pieces.

A KID heist takes a turn for the worst, and Saguru finds himself wondering if he's going to have a body on his hands. -

Here's my gift for humancorn for the DCMK Secret Santa 2k19 Event! There's a bit more yet to come but I figured it was time to put up what I've finished.
