Fandoms: Merlin (TV)

“I beg your pardon?” Lance asks, once the choking has stopped. Gwen is still staring at him, but now her mouth is twitching into a smile, so it’s likely she isn’t going to yell at Merlin for his life choices.
Gwaine is still laughing. Asshole.
“We slept together. Last night at Leon’s birthday,” Merlin says.
Or: The five times Arthur and Merlin slept together, and the one time they didn’t
After Arthur accosts Merlin in the potato storage room, it’s easier for a few days. They can’t help catching each other’s eyes across the hall and pausing, trapped by their own want, but Merlin is more conscious of how close he stands when he serves Arthur at dinner, and Arthur at least stops telling him to go groom his horse like what he actually means to say is please, if you would take off all your clothes.
‘’ So why don’t you tell us all about her?’’ Arthur inclined his head and looked expectantly at Merlin, he's watching him now, his eyes very focused and very cool. And there's something on his face, something Gwen hasn't quite been able to decipher yet, something that reminded her......
The memories are a bit vague. Arthur doesn’t remember the first time he met Merlin very clearly.
It took him a good few weeks before he bothered to learn the boy's name properly and actually keep it in long-term memory.
He didn't remember when it changed, or how, but Merlin had become a permanent fixture in his life and he couldn’t imagine it to be any other way.
In which Arthur is 38, married to Gwen and has a 17 y/o son. Merlin is 16 and somehow manages to flip Arthur's world upside down.

Arthur's life is turned upside down when Uther announces his marriage to a woman his children barely know. Enter Hunith and her son, Merlin, who is everything Arthur is not: unapologetically loud-mouthed, rebellious, cocksure and unabashedly queer. He’s also every bloke Arthur ever had a crush on rolled into one, despite wearing a hideous combination of Oxfam bargain bin and Pride parade and playing obnoxious new rave music in a band called “i am magic”.
His unfortunate attraction to Merlin isn’t the only thing Arthur has to deal with: His last year of sixth form lies ahead and satisfying his father’s expectations of becoming a lawyer like him suddenly seems impossible to reconcile with Arthur’s passion for drawing and sketching.
Meanwhile Arthur and Merlin’s relationship runs through a quick succession from reluctant strangers to trading hostile insults to burgeoning friendship to somewhat fuck-buddies in the span of a couple of weeks.
Life is all kinds of complicated and Arthur finally has no choice but to stand up for what he wants…
