Hizashi had been stunning since the first moment he laid eyes on him, lazing against the small cluster of rocks out in the open waves, but there’s something different about him now.
Shouta’s heart feels like it skips, thrown across a pond, skidding across the surface before finally breaking the tension, dropping down into the depths.
The weight of Hizashi’s words, and the fact that he’d said it first, aren’t missed. There’s no siren magic at work here.
This is real.
[Hizashi is a siren, Shouta is a ship captain AU]

Katsuki never had his own nest. All throughout his teens he’d wanted one for himself but he’d spent years couch surfing after his alpha parents kicked him out when he presented. He couldn’t give them what they wanted. Their whole family were alphas, so it wasn’t surprising that they cast him aside. It hurt, but he was used to it. They never called, never asked if he was okay. All they did was sent him money to ensure he didn’t starve because if it ever went public, it would make their family name look bad.
Katsuki struggled daily to get by, but he didn’t let it get him down.
Things changed when he found himself in a bad situation and wound up being rescued by an alpha, the ones he’d sworn against on a dark winters night.

Endeavor has waited years for this moment. Not only has All Might retired as a professional hero, but he is now quirkless. And this means, much to the former heroes horror, that not only his title of "Number One Hero" is up for grabs...
His omega, Aizawa Shouta, is as well.

After a good scrubbing, he feels at least a little refreshed. He reaches for his phone, pausing when he sees the box of condoms on the counter.
