Summary
Neil bunched the raincoats together and squeezed the excess water down the drain. He knew that someone else was in one of the stalls, but he didn’t pay them any attention until he heard sniffling, as if they were holding in tears. Neil dropped the raincoats in the sink and wiped his hands on his jeans, peeking under the stall to confirm that yes, it was a crying child.
In which Andrew and Neil frequently go to the library, adopt a kid, and eat Dairy Queen. But not necessarily in that order.

It’s Christmas, which means Foxes. It means going back to Palmetto, heart in his lungs because he’s about to see his family again. Andrew is meeting him in the car they’ve hired for the vacation, and Neil thinks he’s been dawdling in the parking lot from his flight’s early arrival an hour ago if the message he receives when he turns his phone on is anything to go by.

Summary
10 years after the end of The King's Men, Andrew and Neil have decided to foster a kid. They have low expectations for themselves--they're not exactly ideal parenting material--but at the very least, the kid will be safe with them. But neither Andrew nor Neil do temporary very well.
Full disclosure: highly character-driven, minimally plot-driven. Things happen, but I have 200k written so far and there's no plot.

Summary
Post-canon - picks up immediately after The King's Men, will probably include a lot of Nora's extra content. Rated E for eventual smut but I will post chapter ratings as well.

~*~Neil watched his teammates antics and smiled before going to find his goalkeeper. As he fell to the couch next to Andrew, he couldn’t help but think how things would be changing soon. They would part as a family and come back together in June with new teammates and a new season ahead of them. It was equally exciting and terrifying to Neil, especially with the knowledge that he would be expected to step up as vice-captain and help Dan. He still felt a wave of anxiety wash over him any time the thought danced across his mind. But there was nowhere to go but forward, towards something Neil never thought he’d live to see: the future.
