There is nothing left to do for them than fight. Survive, on this dead planet. But they messed up, and now they have to decide between their lives and those of their comrades.
Left on Cybertron it was the goal of one small group of Autobots to occupy one of Shockwaves laboratories. But someone informed the Decepticons that they were coming, and now two of them are trapped inside the collapsed building.

The Situation in the southern City States is getting worse and worse, the lower castes are suffering and the High Council does nothing to change that. The People are becoming restless.

"It's slagging cold around here!", Starscream exclaimed and pulled his knees closer. To Skyfire he looked like a bad-tempered ball of heat with wings.
Or: Starscream and Skyfire are watching the sunset on an unknown planet and it's getting cold.
"At this point he wasn't even sure if he cared enough to count the pills anymore."
2D is locked in his room and thinks about a lot of stuff when he feels a migraine coming and notices he's out of painkillers.
