Summary
At age 22, James T. Kirk and his partner became parents. At age 22, James T. Kirk became a single father. In one day, Jim went from mechanical engineering to burping his son and buying insane amounts of pureed sweet potatoes. And he was (mostly) content: he and son were a team.
But Starfleet always comes calling. And this time, Jim and his son answered the call. The Kirks were going to take on the stars, just the two of them.
(It's not just the two of them.) -

Summary
“Say, Spock,” Jim-the-hologram says, eyes darting down for a moment, expression coy, “should we go down there and enjoy ourselves?”
Spock commands the program to end and lets out another slow breath.
He chose this particular memory to reconstruct specifically because Jim had pointed out how he’d hoped back then.
In this timeline, the wrong timeline as he calls it in his head, hope is a difficult currency to come by. -

Summary
In the wake of the kal-if-fee on Vulcan, Kirk is dead. When T’Pau tells Spock to live long and prosper, he knows he shall do neither. This is a story about men who love each other, and the lengths they will go to for one another.

Foolish, he thinks. I have been a fool. How he had wanted so desperately to prove his Vulcan side. How all his life it had felt like a performance, and yet, to be finally subject to the most Vulcan thing of all destroyed him. The stripping of logic. All sense torn from him. His carefully constructed barriers had collapsed like a flimsy house of cards. To be granted his wish this way was a type of mockery. How he had wanted to be fully Vulcan. To prove that the blood which runs through his veins was not so human.
How wanting had been better than having.
-This story is told in two parts across 25 chapters, and will be updated on Sundays.

Summary
He had dreamed of the place, the desert and the settlement and even the gathering rain clouds. He had dreamed of the hot sun and the distant mountains, and when he woke, he had booked his passage. Something was calling him here, and he was curious enough to investigate it. Once upon a time, he had been an explorer.
Spock is drawn to a small and lonely planet on the Romulan border. What he finds there is the one thing that he would never expect.
