Summary
"Bet you five quid that Flesh domain we're avoiding wouldn't have been as gross as this," Martin grumbles, wrenching his feet out of the oozing black mud trying to swallow him.
Jon pauses up ahead, not even out of breath; the ground isn't trying to eat him. Maybe, like Helen, it thinks the smug little bastard would give it indigestion.
"I'd say I'd feel too bad to take your money," he says, tone playfully superior, "but honestly it isn't as though it would be much of a loss nowadays."
***
It may be the end times, but it's still a road trip of sorts, right? So, in grand tradition, Jon and Martin make up silly games to entertain themselves.

Summary
Daisy Tonner and Basira Hussein, knights errant, are no strangers to hunting monsters. But when they come to the remote village of Magnus to investigate rumors of a rampaging dragon, they find themselves embroiled in a plot almost two centuries in the making. Elias Bouchard is the wizard of the Panopticon, the tower that looms over the village and surrounding area, and he's oddly unconcerned about the dragon that stole his apprentice. Sasha James, his other student, has a smile that feels... wrong. Melanie King, from the surrounding farms, seems to know far too much. And Daisy, struggling to control the curse that's haunted her since childhood, can't shake the feeling that she's being watched.

Summary
I won’t leave you no matter what, Rand had told him, and he’d kept his word for as long as it was in his power.
Of course, Mat had made no such promise.
(In the Stone of Tear, Mat has a dream, an encounter, and a shift in perspective.)

Summary
The demon Aziraphale arrives in the Garden and takes a deep breath, smiling at the full moon above and savoring the taste of rich earth and growing things.
Eventually, he finds the most well-guarded fruit in the Garden. In the darkness, it isn’t immediately obvious, but out of the dappled shadow of the leaves, a pair of glittering golden eyes reflect the moonlight. Slowly, he makes out the shape of a great long body wound through the branches of the tree, sleek black scales shifting to a deep scarlet at its underbelly.
It's beautiful.

In which a demon meets an angel in a garden, an apple is eaten, a temptation accomplished; and very little changes at all.

Summary
Johnny thinks he might, possibly, be starting to lose his mind. There's a couple reasons for this. The first is he's been seeing...things...that nobody else can see. The second is he's been having weird dreams involving fire and a man made of metal.
His attempts to get to the bottom of whatever's going on in Mayview sweeps him into a world he's not prepared for. Most kids would be thrilled about getting superpowers, but for Johnny there's just one, simple problem: he's completely and absolutely scared to death of fire.
The fact that he's harboring a massive crush on the new kid in town doesn't help matters either. Neither does the fact that the spirit possessing him seems to have plans of its own...

Summary
Whatever the ex-tea was, if it really had ever been that last bag of chamomile Martin claimed he’d found tucked in the back of the cupboard, it was fast now.
Martin had tried catching it, chasing it, blocking its way with shoebox lids and plates and an upended footstool, but the thing was just too quick. Jon knew as well as Knew that he might have left off the attempts completely if not for the creature’s preferred game.
The game was, See How Many Times I Can Push Martin Towards Cardiac Arrest Before He Comes at Me with The Broom.

Bookmarker's Notes
Wild meets Eleven, and has a thoughtful conversation with him. One of the best examinations of Eleven and Ten and the implications of regeneration that I've seen, and of what it means to be the Doctor.
